How long should my Patreon exclusive versions remain exclusive?

My "Connoisseur" tier gives patrons access to exclusive, usually NSFW versions of my pin-ups. But am I to really permanently keep those versions hidden from the public eye? I have already published some older works publicly which were previously Patreon-exclusive, but I'd like to have your feedback regarding this issue.

Thank you once again for your patronage!

Voting Forever so the lewds don't end up in my Twitter timeline or something.

For $2? One month.

three or 6 months seems like good choices. 1 month and people will just wait, a year and people will forget the work

Dusty_Katt

I'd go with one month.

Sniffeh

Agreed, three months seems a good choice.

One month seems a touch too short for me. 3 seems fair for everyone involved.

I'm not a fan of permanent exclusives, and I've actively avoided supporting artists that do this. Everyone should get to see them eventually and one month seems fair enough. Just to elaborate on this, I think certain types of permanent exclusives are acceptable if the price is fair. Some artists make only low-res NSFW art available and offer hi-res for people that want to pay for instance, but it's really intolerable to me to pay for art in "packs" or not knowing if the NSFW suits my tastes. Some artists feel less like you're tipping them and more like you're paying for a loot box.
