How long should my Patreon exclusive versions remain exclusive?
Added 2021-04-19 10:01:37 +0000 UTCMy "Connoisseur" tier gives patrons access to exclusive, usually NSFW versions of my pin-ups. But am I to really permanently keep those versions hidden from the public eye? I have already published some older works publicly which were previously Patreon-exclusive, but I'd like to have your feedback regarding this issue.
Thank you once again for your patronage!

2021-04-19 19:05:02 +0000 UTCthree or 6 months seems like good choices. 1 month and people will just wait, a year and people will forget the work

2021-04-19 14:07:10 +0000 UTCI'm not a fan of permanent exclusives, and I've actively avoided supporting artists that do this. Everyone should get to see them eventually and one month seems fair enough. Just to elaborate on this, I think certain types of permanent exclusives are acceptable if the price is fair. Some artists make only low-res NSFW art available and offer hi-res for people that want to pay for instance, but it's really intolerable to me to pay for art in "packs" or not knowing if the NSFW suits my tastes. Some artists feel less like you're tipping them and more like you're paying for a loot box.
