Also, are those some free Jugo cells there on Sasuke's neck? Some shapeshifting bio- horrors? Some sage-flavored punch magic of the fleshy variety? Just sitting there unguarded? Get past the phylactery and we may see some decent loot out of this encounter.

2025-06-18 05:28:49 +0000 UTCI think that this is the time where Sakura has felt the most unfinished to me. She has spent the better part of a decade building herself up and we get to see her first proper stress test. As much as Zabuza was a psychological trial, it was a trade of surprise attacks more than an extended fight. Here we see the traditional shounen facing off against a superior foe and despite the nominal victory the whole ordeal displays how well she does against the big guns and sets the stage for her approach to the future and that of the rest of the cast. Everyone has now had a close up look at where they need to be. Over the next few chapters we can see the responses of everyone else while Sakura gets back to work. This is nothing unexpected to her after all.
