How we got screwed

If you were in Discord over the last couple days you heard the story. This is us finally talking about it.
Wow, Crazy shit indeed! Sounds like a real bummer. To be honest I was wondering what that random sticker and poster were about? Sorry haven't been around much in Discord in a long time. Been busy running my business. Something to maybe consider, from a different viewpoint, I would suggest not putting too much faith into this new account manager either, at the end of the day, she works for Patreon, not you. It sounds like when all this started, the former account manager and merch guy who quit shortly after speaking with you, something to consider is maybe they knew this was a shitty deal for creators and they felt bad fucking guys like you, and left out of conscience of knowing what they were being made to do was wrong?? I'm not complaining about quality or free stuff by any means, but the sticker was like a 50 cent item and the poster was not of the level of quality of the stuff you guys sell in your shop, it was a much thinner paper, kind of small, not so great choice image. I cant imagine it having costed that much. So if they shipped out roughly 250 stickers, the stickers were of similar quality to the stuff your shop sells at least, I know retail is a few bucks each on those, but honestly I cant imagine them costing more than 50-75 cents to produce each, and say maybe they spent 75 cents- 1$ for the posters and shipped about 250 of those, it should have cost them maybe $375, maybe $500 at most in materials, (minus shipping), shit even if they paid 1k for the stuff, why are they charging you 4k??? No way int he universe around 250 stickers and 250 thin stock small posters costs 4k$??, sounds pretty fishy, like patreon is running a merch scam on its creators? Just my take on the situation from the story you have explained here and what I actually got in the mail as random bonus gifts. Once again not complaining at all, Just suggesting not to trust Patreon and maybe consider getting out from this whole merch deal, its sounds like a legit ripoff of artists. I would much rather just buy stuff direct from your shop so you get to keep the markups as the artist who created the product, not some company like Patreon who is now seeming to be ripping off the artists who use their platform? To that effect i just bought a new winter Dunny Skull hat and a few of the ashcan #1 reprints from your shop tonight, several hours before hearing this even. What are the odds. Anyways here's wishing you and the team Happy Holidays and best wishes for the New Year!
