Added 2020-05-08 04:01:26 +0000 UTCPatreon is now going to be applying sales taxes to Patrons, starting July 1st. Not all Patrons though. It all depends on where said Patrons live in the USA. Which state they are in and all that. It also depends on whether Patreon considers the content the Patrons get is taxable.
I have no idea where I stand on that part, personally. They just say they're going to use 'specific keywords' in tiers to figure that out. We'll see. I hope that doesn't apply to me, but better to tell you all and have it not happen instead of the other way around, yeah?
