911 Season 3 Episode 5 Rage

I'm not surprised at all that they had Athena take that stance. She is beyond proud to be a police officer and would do anything to defend that, but proved that her family always comes first and defends them at all costs. It's like she knew they were right, but it's a hard pill to swallow for her.

i love bobby and his love for buck means so much to me but he is very much the reason this is happening. everyone except buck was allowed back on the job regardless of how physically or emotionally adjusted they were after traumatic events, this is happening because he’s so overprotective of him. while the lawsuit itself was a dumb idea, i kinda always side with buck during this story. this show always “not all cops” athena and it’s frustrating. i do appreciate that they at least allow her children to call her out for siding with the police not that it ever really goes anywhere. i wish she would just retire already. outside of the athena of it all, i didn’t mind how the show handled the story in this episode. the michael and harry conversation was important and well done.

Honestly I think bringing a guy with potentially anger issues to an (illegal?) fightring might not be the best decision Lena could have made here. But we get shirtless Eddie out of it, so... good decision. I think "losing" Buck kinda pushed Eddie over the edge, first Shannon, then almost Chris, and then his "best friend" (or more?) is also temporarily gone from his life. The lawyer kinda had a point that everyone else got to return a lot faster than Buck, barely a month while Buck has been away for roughly half a year now. But I think the reason for that is that Bobby is kinda overly protective of Buck, which made him prolong this to make sure he was ready. I kinda hate the police discrimination storyline? It is important, but I don´t think they did it super well? The whole Michael side and him having that conversation with Harry was great. But I´m just annoyed how defensive Athena was about "not all cops", like I would rather them not tackle those issues at all if they do it like this. Since you brought it up, as for the real life timeline, we are shortly pre-pandemic. The latter half of season 3 got edited from home during lockdown, and when we reach season 4 we are fully in the "covid era".
