MMO Series Update | MMOシリーズの進歩:

As per new weekly schedule, I have focused solely on animating this week but I’ll be focusing on the MMO series next week! Stay tuned then for more info!

Animation Update | アニメの進捗:

This week I focused on finishing up the RadioWis Podcast channel and trying to prepare a couple of animated shorts for the near future, of which includes the one already published yesterday!

今週はRadioWis Podcastチャンネルの仕上げに集中し、近い将来公開予定のアニメーション短編を数本準備しようと試みています。その中には昨日すでに公開した作品も含まれています！

Okay hear me out, I don’t have a foot fetish, I’m just doubling down on what the developers wanted for that character. Also, it’s not sponsored by the way, I just felt compelled to create something after finishing Wuthering Wave’s latest story and their incredible character writing (in my opinion).

Though I imagine you wouldn’t understand what’s going on if you don’t play the game, in which case, my apologies for making you feel lost. But hey, free feet I guess hahaha

Anyway, the second short I managed to create was an (unsponsored) ad for GamerSupps!

ちょっと聞いてください、私は足フェチなんかじゃないんです。ただ開発者がそのキャラクターに求めていたものを徹底的に追求しているだけです。ちなみにスポンサー付きじゃないよ。ただ『鳴潮』の最新ストーリーと（個人的に）素晴らしいキャラクター描写を読み終えた後、何か作りたくなっただけなんだ。

ゲームをやってないと何が起きてるか分からないと思うけど、その場合は混乱させてごめんね。まあ、無料の足フェチネタってことで笑

とにかく、2本目に作ったのは（非スポンサー）ゲーマーサプの広告です！

It’s incredibly short (around 7 seconds) but since it’s not published yet, I won’t upload the animation itself here to avoid leaks. As mentioned in a previous weekly update, I’d like to use the 3D assets I created to produce short animations promoting partnerships and merchandise.

As for the RadioWis Podcast, because the background loop is now in 3D, I wanted to create a new intro for each episode that was in 3D as well.

超短編（約7秒）ですが、未公開のためリーク防止でアニメーション本体はここにアップしません。前回の週次アップデートでも触れた通り、自作の3Dアセットを活用して、パートナーシップやグッズを宣伝する短編アニメーションを制作したいと考えています。

RadioWisポッドキャストについては、背景ループが3D化したため、各エピソードのイントロも3Dで新たに制作したいと思いました。

Hope you like it! The old cassette opening that was animated in 2D felt off with the new 3D loop, and the idea behind the cassette visuals in the first place was to convey the notion that each episode was a recording of the stories I wanted to tell before what I suspected was cancer took me. However, since it’s not cancer anymore, I felt it only fitting that the intro conveys a different feel.

All that’s left now is to decide what direction I’d like the podcast to take, to which I’m currently finalising my thoughts on that. Hope you look forward to the next episode!

Finally, since it’s October, I’ve been thinking of making the next YouTube animation ‘spook’ related! Hence, I’ve decided to make the next RandoWis animation based on an old comic, specifically the one below!

気に入っていただければ幸いです！従来の2Dアニメーションのカセットオープニングは、新たな3Dループと調和せず違和感がありました。そもそもカセットビジュアルのコンセプトは、癌と疑われた病に倒れる前に伝えたい物語を「録音」するという概念を表現するためでした。しかし癌ではないことが判明した今、イントロも異なる雰囲気を伝えるべきだと考えました。

あとはポッドキャストの方向性を決めるだけ。現在その構想を最終調整中です。次回エピソードを楽しみに待っていてください！

最後に、10月ということで次回のYouTubeアニメーションを「ホラー」テーマにしようと考えています！そこで、次のRandoWisアニメーションは古いコミック、具体的には下記の作品を基に制作することに決めました！

I’ve nothing to show for the production of this next animation yet as I wanted to complete the other shorts and animations first, so I saved this for last. Unfortunately I ran out of time last week before I could begin production, but I’ll be sure to show you more when I work on animations again!

他の短編やアニメーションを先に完成させたかったため、この新作の制作状況はまだお見せできません。残念ながら先週は制作を始める前に時間がなくなってしまいましたが、またアニメーション制作に取り掛かった際には必ず詳細をお見せします！

Warm Ups + Studies | ウォームアップとスタディ:

I didn’t manage to practice drawing heads but I did go back to an old animated doodle that I never finished and used that to practice animating again as it’s been a while since I animated in 2D.

頭部の練習はできなかったけど、昔描きかけのまま放置していたアニメーションの落書きを引っ張り出して、久しぶりに2Dアニメーションの練習に使ってみたんだ。

In fact, I’ve added some little edits and made it into an animated short that I’ll release in the next couple of days! Look out for that!

実は、少し手を加えて短いアニメーション作品に仕上げて、数日中に公開する予定！お楽しみに！

In total, I’ve managed to finish 4 short animations (including the animated practice) and it’s pretty uplifting to be honest. Granted they’re really short and scuffed, it still feels good to produce multiple animations to completion.

I’ve planned to release these shorts over the next 1-2 weeks to spread out content releases for RandoWis in the hopes that it doesn’t feel too quiet. In the meantime, as I work on the MMO series this week, I plan to create more animated doodles which I will turn into shorts if possible.

This way, I hope to fix the content drought that plagues RandoWis every time I work on something. I hope you look forward to these releases!

合計で4本の短編アニメーション（練習用アニメーションを含む）を完成させることができました。正直なところ、かなり気分が上がっています。確かにどれも非常に短く、粗削りではありますが、複数のアニメーションを完成させられた達成感は大きいです。

今後1～2週間かけてこれらの短編を公開し、RandoWisのコンテンツ更新を分散させる予定です。これで更新が途絶えることが少なくなるでしょう。今週はMMOシリーズの制作と並行して、アニメーション付き落書きをさらに制作し、可能であれば短編動画に仕上げる予定です。

こうすることで、私が何か制作するたびにRandoWisを悩ませるコンテンツ不足を解消できればと思っています。ぜひこれらの公開を楽しみに待っていてください！
