At last, I can reveal something I've been working on in conjunction with a major UK cellphone operator, O2.
Meet dAIsy. Daisy is an AI bot who answers scam phone calls. Thanks to the mobile operator who can fingerprint scam phone calls via the calling pattern, source, sequence of calls and other markers, scam calls are being diverted to an AI bot who has been trained to keep the scammers on the phone as long as possible.

A follow-up to the Xfinity scam video

Today I noticed that the Xfinity scammers were back at 'work'. They hadn't seen my video which exposed their scam. They were looking a little bit too cocky, so I thought that they ought to see my video. On their computers and I would watch them react on their own webcams.

This group of scammers pretend to be Utility Companies like Power Providers, Broadband and Cellphone network providers.

Their aim is simple: Pretend to be able to help, but force victims to pay their company instead of the utility. And all through a simple Google Adwords campaign.

This group are in Pakistan and I can see their CCTV and webcams. Time to expose their scam.

Inside a Bank Impersonation Scam

This group of scammers operate in the city of Lucknow, Northern India.

I send a person to go inside their building to secretly film them as they scam people in the UK. I manage to wreck their scam by getting the police to intercept victims' packages of cash which they send to money mules and discovery the network they use to launder cash.

Helping another one of Faran's victims

This one didn't quite make the cut in the main video, but it's one of the first of Faran's victims that I overheard.

The victim's name is Joan and she was persuaded by Faran to go to her bank to withdraw $15,000 in cash and I could see him searching for a Bitcoin ATM near Joan's address. Once again, Faran kept her on a call on his cell phone, so I had no choice but to call the bank that I knew she was travelling to.

AnyDesk ban scammers!

Parents or Police?

I encountered a scammer who was sending fake PayPal, GeekSquad and Norton invoices in order to steal money from victims. He lived in Kolkata where the police are notoriously poor at stopping this sort of crime.

So I wondered if his parents would be more effective than the police at stopping him. This is what happened.
