MMO Series Update | MMOシリーズの進歩:

Last week I managed to finish all backgrounds, and this week I was able to finish up all visual effects (like sparks, rubble, and magic effects)!

There’s not much left for this chapter! Though I did forget about shadows and highlights for the characters, but after that it’s just text and sound effects!

I’m gonna try to finish this chapter by next week, and it should be released for supporters soon after!

先週はすべての背景を仕上げ、今週はすべての視覚効果（火花、瓦礫、魔法の効果など）を仕上げることができた！

このチャプターに残されたものはあまりない！とはいえ、キャラクターの影とハイライトは忘れてしまったけど、あとはテキストと効果音だけだ！

来週までにこのチャプターを完成させて、サポーター向けにリリースするつもりだ！

Animation Update | アニメの進捗:

Last week I managed to finalise all pre-production for the next YouTube video, such as the script, recordings, draft illustrations, and draft animations. In total there are about 71 illustrations and around 10 simple and short animations (like walking and blinking).

I also managed to start working on some of these illustrations last week as well.

先週、次のYouTubeビデオの台本、録音、イラストの下書き、アニメーションの下書きなど、すべてのプリプロダクションを完成させることができた。全部で71枚のイラストと、10個ほどの簡単で短いアニメーション（歩いたりまばたきしたり）がある。

先週もこれらのイラストのいくつかに取り掛かった。

This week though I spent working on the remainder illustrations, and unfortunately I’m not done with all of them yet, but I do hope to try and get this video out by late May. I managed to finish around 40 illustrations so far.

今週は残りのイラストの制作に費やしたが、残念ながらまだ全部は完成していないが、5月下旬までにはこのビデオを公開したいと思っている。今のところ約40点のイラストを仕上げることができた。

As you can see, I’m trying to keep these illustrations simple so I don’t end up spending more time than I need to on this video! They’re more like fun doodles than illustrations, which helps keep it fun!

I’ll update you guys with more next week! Hopefully I can get it done by then too!

Sorry for not updating earlier this week despite saying I’d try! I thought I might as well combine what I’ve currently done this past 2 weeks and release this week’s update a little earlier instead.

I’m trying to get these 2 projects (the latest MMO chapter and YouTube video) out by the end of May, and after that I’d like to try out a new work schedule in the hopes that I am able to create in a more focused manner. I’m thinking of trying out a weekly focused work schedule (one week for MMO, then another for YouTube videos/animations) instead of the “2 days for animation, 3 days for MMO” schedule I’m currently practising right now. I’ll give you more details as we approach June, but that’s just the gist of it.

Also, to everyone who got one, thank you for contributing to a successful Lu plush sale! I’m grateful that so many of you placed an order, and I hope that the physical plush would be worth it when it finally arrives at your doorstep!

今週は早めに更新すると言っておきながら、更新しなくて申し訳ない！今週の更新は、この2週間やってきたことをまとめて、少し早めにしようと思います。

この2つのプロジェクト（MMO最新章とYouTubeビデオ）を5月末までに完成させたいと思っていて、その後はもっと集中して制作できるように、新しい仕事のスケジュールを試してみたいと思っているんだ。今実践している「2日アニメ、3日MMO」ではなく、「1週間MMO、もう1週間YouTube動画・アニメ」という1週間集中型のスケジュールを試してみようと思っています。詳しくは6月が近づいたら説明するが、大まかなところはこんな感じだ。

また、ルーのぬいぐるみを買ってくれた皆さん、ありがとうございました！たくさんの方にご注文いただき、ありがとうございました！

Thank you so much once again! Moving forward, I intend to focus on other types of merchandise other than plushies for a good while, so thank you if you got one. I also want to make non-limited merchandises next so as to not constantly put pressure on you fans if you want to get something RandoWis related. Don’t get me wrong, I still have ideas for seasonal merchandise, but I’d like to focus on non-limited merchandise first and expanding it’s catalogue beyond a single shirt.

The new merchandise store won’t be up for a while as we just ended a plushie sale, but keep a lookout for updates in the future!
