MMO Series Update | MMOシリーズの進歩:

Finally, after all these weeks and months, I’m back to working on the MMO series again!

However, this week I spent retouching up some panels, and filling out the details for the whole chapter. Next week I plan to finish all base colours and start on the backgrounds. My goal is to finish this by the end of May, but we’ll see how it goes!

ようやく、この数週間と数ヶ月を経て、またMMOシリーズの仕事に戻ることができた！

とはいえ、今週はいくつかのコマのレタッチと、チャプター全体のディテールを詰めるのに費やした。来週は、すべてのベースカラーを仕上げ、背景に取り掛かる予定だ。目標は5月末までに完成させることだけど、どうなることやら！

As I worked on the entire chapter more or less this week, I’m using an old image above just to make the point that I reworked some pages, however, below are samples of what I worked on!

今週は多かれ少なかれ章全体を手掛けたので、いくつかのページを手直ししたという点を強調するために、上に古い画像を使用しているが、以下に手掛けたもののサンプルを掲載する！

One of the things I felt like I needed to adjust was the length of Lu’s chin in most panels. This among other sorts of lighting and anatomical adjustments.

ルーの顎の長さを調整する必要があると感じた。照明や解剖学的な調整も含めて。

Animation Update | アニメの進捗:

I managed to finish the animation I worked on this week!

今週は、なんとかアニメーションを完成させることができた！

Last week I mentioned experimenting with doing shorter fully animated videos to get them out faster and with less stress, and I’m happy to say that the experiment has some potentially good results. This animation took me around 4 days to complete from start to finish, which is a great pace in my opinion.

先週、より短時間で、よりストレスなくアニメーションを完成させるための実験について触れたが、この実験が良い結果をもたらす可能性があることを嬉しく思う。このアニメーションを完成させるのに4日ほどかかった。

I have recorded the timelapse, but I’ve yet to make it into a YouTube video as well. I’ll try to make one next week before they start piling up, haha.

Though to be honest, if I had stayed on schedule, I would have focused more on the MMO series this week, but I wanted to get this done by the end of this week so I could plug the Lu plush alongside it. Nonetheless, I hope you enjoyed this animation!

The next YouTube video won’t be an animation, instead it will be the long overdue announcement of me taking part in the YouTube Partner Program! It will mostly be static illustrations with tiny bits of animations here and there, along with a narration from me.

Currently I only have drafts done on paper, so I can’t show anything this week, but I hope to show you something next week!

タイムラプスは録画したが、まだYouTubeのビデオにもしていない。来週、動画がたまる前に作ろうと思う。

正直なところ、予定通りだったら今週はもっとMMOシリーズに集中できたんだけど、今週中にこれを完成させたかったから、呂布のぬいぐるみも一緒に出したかったんだ。とはいえ、このアニメーションを楽しんでいただけたなら幸いです！

次のYouTubeビデオはアニメーションではなく、YouTubeパートナー・プログラムに参加することを発表するものだ！ほとんどが静的なイラストで、ところどころにアニメーションを入れ、私のナレーションを入れる予定です。

現在、下書きしかできていないので、今週はお見せできませんが、来週にはお見せできると思います！

Gotten a little rusty, but not too bad I guess. Will aim to do more variety of practices next week!
