MMO Series Update | MMOシリーズの進歩:

Though it pains me to admit, I only managed to work on a couple of pages for the MMO series this week. Unfortunately there were a few unforeseen hurdles that popped up in the later part of the week with regards to the re-released shirts for the [ pinku . papuru ] collection (I explain more below). As a result, I was unable to properly focus on making progress for the MMO series this week. My humblest apologies!

I’ll try to make up for it next week!

正直言って、今週はMMOシリーズのページを数ページしか作ることができませんでした。残念ながら、週の後半に【ピンク・パープル】コレクションの再販シャツの件で、いくつかの予期せぬハードルが立ちはだかりました（詳しくは後述します）。そのため、今週はMMOシリーズの進捗にきちんと集中することができませんでした。大変申し訳ありませんでした！

I’m done with the drafts for the both characters!

We can proceed to outlines next week!

両キャラクターの下書きは終わった！

来週にはアウトラインに進むことができます！

Once again, it took 2 whole days to get the drafts done for the second character. Yikes.

Thankfully though, I am able to proceed with outlining the animation starting next week! Production is finally reaching it’s later stages! Still, gonna try to get a mid April release for this animation, so I’ll finish as much as I can and show you more next week!

今回も2キャラ目の原稿を仕上げるのに丸2日かかりました。やばいです。

でも、ありがたいことに、来週からアニメーションのアウトラインを進めることができます！いよいよ制作も後半戦に突入です！でも、このアニメは4月中旬の公開を目指しているので、できる限り仕上げて、来週にはお見せしたいと思います！

This week I thought of trying to practise hands! I’ve noticed that it’s one of the few parts of the human body that I never really practised despite it’s essential part of every character illustration!

今週は、手の練習をしてみようと思いました！キャラクターイラストには欠かせないパーツであるにもかかわらず、これまであまり練習してこなかったのです！

This week was a little hectic to be honest, mostly due to me underestimating the work required for the new designs and an issue with setting up the [ pinku.papuru ] shirts on the 'Represent' store. Speaking of which, please have a look at the new shirts!

今週は、新しいデザインに必要な作業を甘く見ていたことと、「Represent」ストアに【ピンク・パープル】シャツを設定する際の問題で、正直少し慌ただしい一週間となりました。ということで、新しいシャツをご覧ください！

Also if you noticed, last week I showed 3 designs that were in production. Unfortunately I could not get the 3rd design done in a satisfactory manner, and considering that I already took almost 2 days to finalise the 2 shirts above, I decided to hold on to the 3rd design for now. Perhaps it will be a shirt next year! You can see the design in question below.

また、先週は制作中の3つのデザインを紹介しました。残念ながら3つ目のデザインは満足のいく形で仕上げることができず、上記の2つのシャツの最終仕上げにすでに2日近くかかってしまったことを考えると、3つ目のデザインはひとまず保留にすることにしました。もしかしたら、来年はシャツになるかもしれません！問題のデザインは、下記でご覧いただけます。

Finally, to sum up the issue that popped up on the ‘Represent’ store;

-‘Represent’ has a feature on it’s site that allows you to duplicate the information on past products so that you won’t waste time having to recreate the same item in your store. This includes not just text information (like the title and description), but the type of shirt, placement of the shirt design, shirt colours, and price. This feature has disappeared for me, hence needing to recreate every [ pinku.papuru ] shirt from scratch.

Meaning, instead of just making 6 new items on the store, I’ve had to make 15 items, which took a lot more time that I expected. This ate into time on Friday, which meant I had even less time to work on the MMO series this week. I’m contacting Represent support and trying to figure out what happened, so no worries.

I hope this explains the lack of progress for the MMO series this week!

最後に、「Represent」ストアに飛び込んできた問題をまとめます；

-「Represent」には、過去の商品の情報を複製する機能があり、店舗で同じ商品を再現するのに無駄な時間がかからないようになっています。タイトルや説明文などの文字情報だけでなく、シャツの種類、シャツのデザインの配置、シャツの色、価格なども含まれます。この機能がなくなってしまったため、【ピンク・パープル】のシャツを一から作り直さなければならなくなりました。

つまり、ストアで6つの新しいアイテムを作る代わりに、15個のアイテムを作らなければならず、予想以上に時間がかかってしまったのです。そのため、金曜日に時間が取られてしまい、今週はMMOシリーズに取り組む時間がさらに少なくなってしまいました。Representのサポートに連絡して、何が起こったか把握しようとしているので、心配しないでください。

これで、今週のMMOシリーズの進捗の少なさが説明できたと思います！
