It really does feel like only yesterday that it was my GC8 in the booth getting the RRC treatment and here we are 2 years later saving another Impreza. This photo was taken a couple of weeks ago but I had to share it with you as I don't know why but I think its a really cool shot, kind of reminds me of a rally car sitting in the service area after a brutal special stage lol.

Well I'm now at the stage of putting all the lovely restored bits back onto the car as well as sorting out all its mechanical and interiors issues... well lack of interior really haha. Anyway as I said a while ago this will be a single part video showing the car from dead in a barn to driving on the open ( probably wet ) roads lol. One of the benefits of being a painter for nearly 20 years? Perfect gloss straight from the gun no flatting or polishing required! 02C can be a very tricky colour to paint / match but when it goes right its a joy to look at. For such a light blue it has real depth to it Subaru got it spot on in formulation lab when they came up with this colour in the 90's.
Ps. Ignore the the fact i forgot to wipe the dust off the spoiler blade haha

There is a special placed reserved in hell for people that choose to fit a hideous ill fitting spoiler and then proceed to fit it using interior trim panel clips and enough Sikaflex to hold the Saturn 5 to the launchpad at full thrust!!!!

With the amount of vivid pinks available why oh why did Subaru feel the need to choose this horrible shade for there STI bits? Or it might just be me as you know what im like for proper vivid colours! The skate board and 916 spring instantly to mind haha.
Anyway you'll be glad to hear I'm finished filming and all i need to do is a bit of editing and the episode will be good to go and i can crack on with the next :)

Why Oh Why do i do this to myself! Mines has to be rebuilding brake calipers BIG Brembo's are defo my favorite to re-build. I just find it so relaxing I could happily do it all day long unlike most mechanical jobs haha.
