Weekly Update | 週間更新 #019

Hey everyone!

Weekly update time!

Unfortunately I’ll have to admit that this week wasn’t as productive as last week. 🙁

Seems like everything decided to break down in the house this week, from the toilet plumbing having leaks, to the air-conditioning leaking from the pipes behind the walls, to the wooden floor panels now damaged due to the leaking air-conditioning, to MamaWis’ PC no longer functioning. All of this having to be manually fixed in order to save as much money as we can.

週間更新の時間です!

残念ながら、今週は先週ほど生産的でなかったと認めざるを得ない。🙁

今週は、トイレの水漏れ、壁の裏のパイプからのエアコンの水漏れ、エアコンの水漏れで傷んだフローリング、ママウィズ（僕の母です）のPCの故障と、家の中のあらゆるものが壊れることになったようだ。少しでも節約するために、すべて手作業で直さなければならないのです。

そして、その修理は誰がやるんだ？

Still, managed to make some progress, so it’s all good!

でも、なんとか進んだので良しとしましょう。

In summary:

– Managed to get started on the roughs for chapter 18 of the MMO series!

– More draft animations for the next animated video!

– Managed to practice some gesture drawings!

- MMOシリーズ第18章のラフになんとか着手!

- 次のアニメの下書きアニメをもっと作った

MMO Progress Update | MMOの進捗 :

Chapter 18 is gonna be slightly longer than the average chapter because it contains 41 pages. Originally I was going to cut it into 2 chapters, but I felt that the chapter would feel abrupt if it ended anywhere in between. Thankfully, while building MamaWis a new PC, I bought an upgrade for myself as well that I hope to make full use of. Making 3D assets for all the chapters is gonna save us a lot of time in the future for sure!

第18章は41ページあるので、普通の章より少し長くなりそうです。当初は2章に分ける予定だったのですが、途中で終わってしまうと唐突な感じになってしまうので、1章にしました。ありがたいことに、ママウィス（僕の母です）のPCを新しくしたついでに、自分用にもアップグレードを購入したので、それをフルに活用したいと思っています。全編の3Dアセットを作ることで、今後の作業時間が大幅に短縮されることは間違いないでしょう。

Animation Update | アニメの進捗:

As mentioned before, I am focusing more on the MMO series for the time being, so I’m dedicating less days for animation. This means I won’t make as much animation progress per week as compared to the previous animation ( [ pinku . pa-puru ] ). Still, I hope to finish this short parody soon!

前述したように、当面はMMOシリーズに注力するため、アニメーションに割ける日数が少なくなっています。そのため、前回のアニメ（「ピンク・パープル」）に比べて、1週間あたりのアニメーションの進捗が少なくなっています。それでも、この短いパロディーを早く完成させたいと思っています。

Lu is part of this animation too (although to a lesser extent)!

Warm Ups + Studies | ウォームアップとスタディ:

Funnily enough, I managed to keep up with my personal goal of “1 practice session a day” this week! Though, I hope to do anatomical and/or cloth studies as well next week.

面白いことに、今週は「1日1回の練習」という個人的な目標をなんとか守ることができました でも、来週は解剖学や布の勉強もしたいです。

Well, it’s unfortunate that progress slowed down this week, but I guess life is fair that way too. Road bumps in life, big or small, remind us to not take the time we have for granted. There’s even that feedback post that I didn’t manage to post last week. You know what, I’ll prepare it after it making this post to make sure it gets out soon, haha! Hopefully things speed up again next week!
