Weekly update time!

My apologies for delaying this release of the 'weekly update' til today!

Though, the only update I'll be making today is that THE ANIMATION IS FINALLY COMPLETE!

In summary:

- The animation project is finally done and is publicly available for everyone to watch! The title is called "pinku . pa-puru", and as you know, the past 3 months have been heavily focused on finishing this. I'll finally be able to go back to continuing the MMO series, and practising with warm ups after this as well!

今日まで「週間更新」のリリースを遅らせて申し訳ありません。

とはいえ、今日の更新は「アニメーションがついに完成した！」ということだけです。

要約すると:

- アニメーションのプロジェクトがついに完成し、みんなが見られるように公開されました! タイトルは「pinku . pa-puru」といい、ご存知の通り、この3ヶ月はこれを仕上げることに重きを置いていました。この後、ようやくMMOシリーズの続きと、ウォームアップでの練習に戻ることができそうです!

That's right, the announcement I wanted to make was that there are new shirts available for purchase on the merch store! (Though, only for a limited time. I'll explain why below.)

- Why a limited time to purchase these shirts? | なぜ、このシャツを期間限定で購入できるのか？

The big idea was to have seasonal merchandise. Every season (Winter, Spring, Summer, Autumn) would feature shirts corresponding to that current season.

This was the idea that inspired me to create this animation in the first place. I had planned to make a seasonal animation video, in a style similair to the one you just saw, for each season that came. I naively thought it was possible to finish each animation within 6 weeks. However, I now know that it's IMPOSSIBLE to finish the animation in that amount of time, at least not using my current methods.

My initial idea was also that each season's merchandise would be available for purchase for the duration of the season itself (around 3 months each), hence why I was trying so hard to finish this animation by April. However, seeing as to how we're almost in Summer, and this kind of came by surprise, I've decided to continue selling these shirts despite July falling under Summer.

I'm reflecting on this idea and how I can better execute it, because I already have songs written for the other seasons, but the idea of this animation hell happening again scares me, haha. This is an area I shall strive to improve on.

大きなアイデアは、季節ごとの商品を用意することでした。冬、春、夏、秋の各シーズンごとに、その季節に合ったシャツを用意するのです。

これが、このアニメーションを作るきっかけになりました。季節が変わるごとに、今見ていただいたようなスタイルのアニメーションビデオを作ろうと思っていました。6週間で完成させることが可能だと考えていました。しかし、少なくとも今の私のやり方では、その期間でアニメーションを完成させることは不可能であることがわかりました。

また、当初は各シーズンのグッズをシーズン中（各3ヶ月程度）販売することを想定していたので、このアニメーションを4月までに完成させようと必死になっていたのです。しかし、もうすぐ夏になるということで、急遽、7月は夏でもシャツの販売を継続することにしました。

というのも、すでに他のシーズンの曲はできているのですが、このアニメ地獄が再び起こるというのは怖いですからね、ハハ。このあたりは改善するように努力します。

- What now? | 今度は何？

Right now I intend to take a short break, perhaps a day or two. I'd like to start making progress in the MMO series again, but I haven't been getting enough sleep this past week because of this animation and I'm exhausted. Unfortunately, the Fire Department has called me back for a reservist cycle as well, so even if I wanted to, I can't start working and practising on other art right away.

I also intend to make an update video regarding this animation project (sounds, inspiration etc...), and the grand scheme behind it (which I already mentioned above). I plan to upload it on YouTube for everyone to see, should they take interest.

I'll use the 'weekly update #015' this weekend to showcase more behind-the-scenes content for "pinku . papuru", and hopefully I'll have some practices and MMO pages to accompany that, but for today, this will be all. My eyes are heavy as I'm typing this, so sorry if I do not make sense, haha.

今は、1日か2日、少しお休みするつもりです。MMOシリーズをまた進めたいのですが、この1週間はこのアニメのせいで睡眠不足が続き、疲れ果てています。残念ながら、消防署から予備役として呼び戻されたので、他のアートの制作や練習をしたくてもすぐにはできない。

また、このアニメーションのプロジェクト（サウンド、インスピレーションなど）、およびその壮大な計画（前述）についてのアップデートビデオを作成するつもりです。YouTubeにアップロードして、みんなに見てもらおうと思っています。

今週末の「週間更新 #015」では、「pinku . papuru」の舞台裏を紹介し、それに付随する練習やMMOのページも用意できればと思っていますが、今日はここまでとします。この文章を打っている時は目が重たいので、意味不明だったらごめんなさい、ハハ。

Anyway, thank you all so much for the love and support you've given me these gruelling past few months! My apologies for not managing my time better, and dragging this project longer than it should be, but nontheless, I hope you enjoyed the animation and the new shirts!
