Weekly update time!

In summary: Didn’t managed to do any MMO pages, finished the backgrounds for the animation and have started outlining, and managed to do some practices.

みなさん、こんにちは！

週間更新の時間です！

まとめ：MMOの新しいページの下書きができなかった。アニメの残りの背景をなんとか完成させ、アニメのアウトラインを作り始めた。今週は絵の練習をすることができた。

MMO Progress Update | MMOの進捗 :

As we’re heading towards the end of May, I’ve decided to put MMO pages on hold for now. It’s been a bummer that I haven’t made any progress these past few weeks for MMO, and I do apologise for that, but I feel like it would be better for me to push through these last few stages of the animation production, and then go back to MMO. I’d be able to work on MMO with a clearer mind that way. I hope you’ll understand.

5月も終わりに近づいてきたので、MMOのページは一旦保留にすることにしました。ここ数週間、MMOが全然進まなくて残念だし、申し訳ないのですが、アニメーション制作の最後の段階を進めてから、MMOに戻った方がいいような気がしています。そのほうが、よりクリアな気持ちでMMOに取り組めるからです。ご理解いただけると幸いです。

Animation Update | アニメの進捗:

The remaining backgrounds took almost a day each to complete as there were quite a few revisions, but all in all, they’re finally done! Next is step outlining!

残りの背景も、かなり修正が入ったため、それぞれ1日近くかかりましたが、ようやく完成しました！次は、アニメーションのアウトラインを描くステップです！

What you see above aren’t the remaining backgrounds I finished this week, but they were some of the more extremely difficult ones for me to get right. I’ll still need to add the flower petals falling in post production, and some of the cuts will require additional background animations (like water sparkles), but for now, I’m in the process of drawing the outlines. Unfortunately the handful of cuts I’ve managed to outline this week have not been showcased in previous ‘Weekly Updates’, so I won’t spoil them here. However, I will show this one new cut that doesn’t reveal too much.

上に写っているのは、今週仕上げた残りの背景ではありませんが、私にとっては、より極めて難しい背景の一部でした。ポストプロダクションで花びらが散る様子を追加したり、背景のアニメーション（水のきらめきなど）を追加する必要があるカットもありますが、とりあえずはアウトラインを描いているところです。残念ながら、今週アウトラインを描くことができたカットは、これまでの「Weekly Update」で紹介されていないので、ここでネタバレすることはしません。しかし、あまり多くを語らない新しいカットをひとつだけお見せしましょう。

Warm Ups + Studies | ウォームアップとスタディ:

I didn’t realise I would be so rusty after missing out on warm ups for a single week. I couldn’t even finish the drawing in 30 seconds for some poses. I got so frustrated at how incompetent I became I resorted to drawing anatomy for a little bit.

一週間ウォームアップを怠ったことで、こんなに錆びついてしまうとは思いませんでした。ポーズによっては30秒では描き終わらないこともありました。あまりの無能さにイライラして、ちょっとだけ解剖学の練習に頼りました。

We’re inching ever so closely to the end of this animation project! I do apologise that it has taken so long for it to reach this point, and for the fact that other projects have been put on hold because of my mismanagement of time yet again.
