Alternate Wizard Class - BETA 2

Hey all!

I made a few small (but impactful) changes to the Alternate Wizard Class this past week, and I thought I'd share them out to get a feel for what everyone thinks. I also corrected a few mistakes with the Wizard Spell List (repeat spells, wrong levels, etc).

Proficiencies // Tools // Added Calligrapher's Supplies here (instead of Spell Scrivener).

Arcanist // Renamed (Student of the Arcane)

Spellcasting // Mastered Schools // Whenever you gain a Mastered School you can add spells to your Spellbook INSTEAD of gaining a new Mastered School. Allows you to specialize! I also took the "Mastered Schools" column off the Wizard table, both to declutter it a bit, and because you may not always have that many Mastered Schools if you use the new feature above.

Spell Scrivener // Simplified this text a little bit. (Could this be a Feat instead?)

Let me know what you think in the comments or over on Discord!

Hey paserllama, have you ever thought of doing a pet class? Thinking like the summoner in pathfinder.

I don't know how I feel about the spell scroll crafting stuff. Between the time and gold it takes to make them, you're spending 6 days and 6,000 gp to gain a free 6th-level spell slot which you could simply recover after an 8-hour long rest. Will that really be clutch enough in combat or otherwise to justify all that? Especially because it's not even a general 6th-level slot but a predetermined spell.

I like this!

Hey Llama - I like the change to mastered school letting you now specialize, but with that, it also makes it a little more apparent that beyond learning extra spells, you aren't actually improving at casting them beyond your signature spell. What would you think about adding a small benefit to mastered schools, such as innate advantage on conentration checks or a +1 to you spell save DC for them? Maybe if you choose to specialize you can increase these benefits for one school or something. An actual benefit to 'mastering' a school would go a long way toward actually identifiying as a master of said school
