Special Patreon Feed - Store Tour

You have it first.  One of the items our patreon support has let us invest in is a 360 camera setup.  While this might be a bit of a one trick pony, I do believe this will make an incredibly useful tool for historic house tours as you saw a sample in our last video.  This camera setup is higher quality than the last and it is starting to be tolerable.

Again what you are seeing here is just a test.  We are continueing to learn just how to use this and to edit it.  I hope to redo the full Locust Grove 360 tour in the next few weeks.  That will be the first real test.

If you haven't viewed one of these videos before, you can scroll around the scene with your mouse, just  press you left mouse button on the picture and move your mouse, you'll get the idea.

Thank you for your amazing support of what we do!

this is the first time i've seen a video where the 360° was adding something to it. This is really nice! as Christopher suggested, filming in the reenactment-locations could be amazing: Maybe not the most difficult of events like battles, but just the camp layout, and the everyday life, this would be nice!

How did I not know you were on Patreon until now? In any case I'm glad I know now & get to access goodies like this! Don't kid us, we know that there are zombies in the basement ;)!

This is cool, but I'm wondering if the quality will be 720p or 1080p? Still pretty awesome!

I'm still trying to wrap my head around this tech. Love it!

H. D. Burke

Great job, that was delightful.

RICHARD FIELD

Cool video! Thanks for that :) Where are these flags you got in the first office on the wall from? A little video on flags from the 18th Century would be a nice idea!

Dominik Baumer

I feel privileged for getting this tour. Thank You.

Nancy Wilson

Very interesting to see everything. And Jon looks so different in modern clothing :-)

David Kübitz

That was fun. Seems Kevin was on to you pretty quick.

Eddy Gurge

This is shot with the dual sp360 4k setup.

Very nice guys! What is the brand of the camera?

Christopher Cook

Thoroughly enjoyed watching this 360 video. Very much appreciated seeing behind the scenes. Looking forward to seeing the next 360 video.

Paul Carey

Yes, we have been thinking about the battle thing but that would be quite an investment.

Jon Townsend

Thanks for the tour. And you're right, this would be awesome for giving us a better view of the historic houses/sites that you shoot at. Seeing a reenacted battle would be awesome with this too!

If you are using your phone, make sure to use the Youtube app or it won't show up properly.
