Notes on the contents of this pack:
This Highlight contains the first part of Chapter 16-By the Skin of the Teeth
More of this chapter in the next highlight
1- Constantinople's Grand Bazaar is a gigantic space made up of several covered areas, where shopkeepers stand. The map offers a glimpse of this place. You can easily find the translators' corner, top right.
2- The street atmosphere is represented by this Street Cafe, day and night. This is where investigators will meet the Gypsy and his bear. Regulars gather to play backgammon, a popular game in Turkey, while drinking tea.
3- The map of the British Consulate leads to a meeting with Sir Douglas Rutherford, whose child was abducted here in the gardens. One of the consulate's employees is a spy for the Brotherhood of the Skin and it's highly likely that blows will be exchanged in the office or in the building's lobby...
4- The Topkapi Library is a place full of precious, ancient books. Few people can consult them, but you'll probably get a helping hand from Sir Douglas Rutherford.
