Monkey Wrench Ep 3 Update 07/22/2023

Anyhow this will be the last storyboard update for Ep 3 as I'm very much near the end and as usual we don't want to spoil the ending!
There won't be an update next week as I'll be finishing off the boards, then we'll be back with the regular updates come the 4th of August.
Also if you didn't see my recent twitter and tumblr post ash and I have been having a long discussion and we've came to the realization that our ambition for this show greatly outweighs our resources and our YT audience interest.
What this means going forward is that episode 3, due to it's complexity, length (29 minutes currently) and overwhelming cost to having it fully animated (roughly looking at $75,000 minimum JUST for animation, money which we do not have) AND not wanting to spend 2 years animating a single episode solo, what we plan on doing is making this ep a hybrid of animation and fully polished animatic. Think of it as a motion comic with voices and music, but characters move from keyframe to keyframe and when it calls for it; full animation.
This way we can get eps out much faster (we're currently looking at a late October release for ep 3 if we do it this way), gain more interest quicker as well as hopefully raising more funding to the point were we can return to full animated eps once again.
Hopefully when the August 4th update rolls around I'll have a more refined example of what I mean.
