Been to 4 events/tourneys and the gameplay is top notch. Alpha/Beta is well polished and that is saying something for being a first set of a TCG game imo. A lot of experience, playtesting, etc went into it all and you can tell when you give it a few go's.

Only thing I can come up with is since they are focusing on the drafting this set, 24 packs is what you need for an 8 person draft. There are reprinted Beta boxes that should have already arrived at LGS in the US. EU is having to wait a little longer on those I believe.

The final decision will be determined when the market settles and we can look back at the price of the Booster boxes.
