Sealed cases sometimes are taped together to save on shipping, extra 10 it's packed in it's own box away from prying eyes :) usually not a problem but if u have theft issues in your area probably want to pay for the double boxing

Couldn't agree more. Sorcery is a gem and it should not remain hidden. The gameplay and deck building is even better than the artwork, or the box opening experience. Sorcery Alpha/Beta is one of the most polished introductory sets in TCGs imo. The meta is still changing, a year after the only set release, people let that sink in...

yep, for all 6 box Draft/play box orders, i always reco the double box option for shipping if you plan on keeping them sealed and want the boxes to look pretty

I could see a newcomer might focus on the price point. There is a lot of reasons they could need a higher margin and I believe a big portion of that is due to logistics and production needs. Art is expensive and takes time to develop. Distribution takes effort to expand. I live in a fairly affluent area and there are very few stores that carry and support the game nearby. They also made a large effort to release on time as Alpha was delayed a year and Beta was delayed a few months. We will need time before we can see if this new set will retain card value as well as the base set did. I am interested to see where they take the game in any case.

I read Arthurian Legends is going to be sold in booster boxes of 24 packs (down from 36 packs on Set 1) and stay at the same price point. I don't play it but wondering any of you guys unhappy about the shrinkage?

Hello. I'm new to the group. I'm a little confused. It seems like I am able to get some of the magic boxes for less on tcgplayer (e.g. Karlov Manor has a listing for an unopened play booster box for $94.95). Am I just misunderstanding what I'm seeing?

They are dumping MoM draft on Amazon at least for my region(MidAtlantic). On 8/15 they had it for 30% off ($80) and today its 20% off ($91). And they are doing it via in-cart coupons so it is slightly more hard to see.

Welcome to the cardboard thunderdome. I would only buy what you enjoy and believe in. Some patrons open and flip singles...some patrons keep everything sealed for long term. Some patrons flip sealed product to locals.....and lastly....some patrons never buy anything and like to watch the show :-)
