Thx for the clarification. Hopefully others will see it so they know what to look out for. I of course knew not to expect too much else from the "Hopes & Dreams" basement layer after I immediately spotted a pristine draft booster pack of Midnight Hunt in there (well, along with a Rudy Claus card, the Japanese Ikoria 4-card pack, and the three FaB promos), and the 3 FaB hero cards are actually pretty nice looking even if their financial value is low, so all good.

Hey Arnd, I also got the same 3 hero rainbow foils in my set. Same numbers, mine are not cold foil. The price difference between the cards are crazy! Is the price just driven by the rarity of the card number or do the cold foils have a different look? The rainbow foils look awesome!

I got a set of Flesh & Blood "Young Hero" promo cards in my bundle. They have the numbers "HER038" (Prism, Sculptor of Arc Light), "HER039" (Ser Boltyn, Breaker of Dawn), and "HER040" (Levia, Shadowborn Abomination). All three are rainbow foil, not cold foil, originally were "Monarch Gift with Purchase“ promos, and each one currently goes for less than $5 on TCGPlayer (prices have been in that region for months, so this is not a clueless 6.9 Timmies effect). There are cold foil versions of all three cards that sell for $150+, but they have the numbers HER030, HER031, and HER032 and were awarded for "Road to Nationals 2021 Top8, Nationals 2021 participation" (see FABTCG‘s "Promos and Extras" webpage). Did anyone actually get those cold foil promos (HER030/HER031/HER032) in a 6.9 kit? If not, I can see why someone would part with their young heroes rainbow foil promo cards for a few bucks each, and it seems that there’s both more and less confusion than the main post here implies.

My first box was nice. Got a Rudy really big feet and a scrubland. Only downside of the scrubland is the alpha investment sticker on the back 😅 but it slides into my oloro deck, so that’s happiness. My second box was total pound town. It was like walking into Rudy doing my wife, sister, and mother all at once! $1.46 boltyn adult hero, baldurs gate collectors booster ( did open full art displaced kitten and ancient gold dragon at least!) the Rudy promo (which is awesome of course), and 6 standard, or barely rotated mtg booster packs. Overall, fun and exciting to open these! Barely missed the 69 on 5 different pins between the two boxes. Within 2-5 numbers lol I’d do it again!

At least you got the sig. One of my boxes was exactly that except instead of the sig, I had an unsigned blank and an electrify promo :). Guess we’re just a bunch of Timmys for buying into Rudy’s hype.

Cracked mine tonight and super disappointed. If i sold everything id get ~$400 before fees. I get that we shouldn’t buy this to flip but I expected to get value closer to what i paid.
