Complex layout is scary because you start with a blank document, starting from finding inspiration sources and ending up with a good barebones layout.

I purposefully didn't finish the poster in this video because I invite you to try and use the techniques and ideas I went over in the video and try and explore unique options yourself. Most tutorials will show you an end product but then everyone's work will end up looking the same.

[BTS] Drawings -- Scrapped NFT Collection

These were to be sculpted in 3D in ZBrush and rendered in Cinema4D + Octane but as I was working on it, someone released something very similar and decided to start work on something else instead. But these drawings were cool!

Q002 -- Illustrator Workspace Setup

Now that the workspace is setup, I'll be using every panel in detail in future tutorials, as well as updating you guys on any changes I end up making to the workspace or if I come across a cool new plugin!

A simple, clean, and out of the way workspace is key to generating flow, while also keeping your most used tools closest to you so you minimize scrolling through menus.

Q001 -- GRIDS (BASICS)

Setting up your grid seems simple but is essential for leveling up your designs and making them look "professional" and "finished". Simple alignment can go a long way.

*REMEMBER*
Grids are just suggestions, break the grid as you please but it helps to have a baseline layout. It can make blank documents seem way less intimidating.
