Metazoo UFO + Double Masters Updates
Added 2022-06-21 00:19:14 +0000 UTCMetazoo UFO - They have announced UFO products will no longer be sold by Channelfireball. In addition they are banning "MVPSports/SportsNmore" from carrying any Metazoo products. The company has stated they are monitoring large online sellers and cracking down to prevent any single company from having significant chunks of the print run that can cause instability to the secondary market.
Metazoo has now expanded to all major distributors in the USA to spread the product thiner across more channels. In theory this prevents any single distributor from holding back product or raising prices at the wholsale level during release.
The patron bundles have been reduced to 2,000 for UFO.
Double masters 2 - As of right now Draft boxes will be sold in a quantity of 2 per patron order. Collector boxes , are still unknown.
Hoping to get more allocation to increase this to 4 per patron.
As of right now the goal is to keep the pricing the same as the early pre-orders which was $259 shipped per draft box. As long as ALL distributors dont raise prices, this shouldnt be a problem. I have no plans to sell this product at a loss or near breakeven.
If 1 or more distributors raise prices to stores, then that number will move up to $279-$299
I would rather pay a higher price to a distributor and get more supply especially on a product line like this.
