Hello everyone - today I’m sharing a compendium of additional content for my Alternate Ranger Class - the Alternate Ranger: Expanded.
Included here are some more fantastical (and niche) options for the Alternate Ranger: three Fighting Styles, thirteen Knacks, and eight Ranger Archetypes. As always, I’m open to any feedback or constructive criticism you may have!

Fighting Styles. A small number of the more niche Fighting Styles are included here: Druidic Warrior for your spellcasting Rangers, Mounted Warrior for mounted combatants, and Unarmed Fighting for those who want to go full wild warrior!
Survivalist Knacks. Among the thirteen new Knacks included here are specific benefits for Rangers specialized in certain environments, benefits for mounted Rangers, heavily armored Rangers, and woodsmen Rangers!
Bounty Hunter. What if my Alternate Fighter Class and its system of Exploits had a “half-Exploit user” version akin to the Eldritch Knight or Arcane Trickster? Well, the Bounty Hunter Ranger offers an answer to that question!
Buccaneer. Rangers are adapted to all environments, so I thought a Ranger of the high seas would make for a fun Archetype - let me know what you think!
Druidic Guardian. The Ranger is often viewed as the half-caster partner to the Druid class, but what if the Ranger was able to wield more of the Druid’s power? This Archetype grants you limited (but potent) access to Wild Shape.
Dunestrider. As a huge fan of *DUNE*, this was a Ranger Archetype I had to take a shot at. Become the ultimate survivor in the wastelands of your magical world!
Grim Warden. Part of my (abandoned) Blood Hunter: Dissected project. The Grim Warden is my attempt to bring the themes and some of the better mechanics of the Blood Hunter class to the official classes in 5e.
Nomad. Another adaptation, this time of a subclass from the old UA: Mystic Class! One of the stranger, but really fun, options from the (sadly) abandoned class, the Nomad is back in action with the Alternate Ranger!
Stargazer. I think that star magic is really cool (and if the Circle of Stars is any indication) and I think others may agree! Align yourself with one of the Constellations and channel their radiant wrath!
Wrangler. Ever wanted to play the Crocodile Hunter in D&D? Now you can! Mess around with enchantment magic and let me know what you think!
