Anyone know the official print run numbers for both rudy promo cards? I am hearing different numbers I just want to nail down what's official.

I would have not purchased the first kit had I known this was coming. This is significantly better in value than the first, it's not even close. $200 more and you get at worst another booster box and another Rudy promo. Are there any options to pay the difference and get some of the extras?

New patron here so I may be a bit lost. But it’s Alpha investments not Alpha Flips right? Shouldn’t both kits be viewed exclusively as two different entry points at two different times. Wouldn’t in the longer term if metazoo stands the rest of time, all of these products will be above anything patrons paid for? I’ve seen quiet a few vids where Rudy advises that flipping is fine, buts it not the goal here and as such doubt he would be concerned with short term losses or gains. Knowing all this and the mantra of stay the course - caveat emptor.

Well tbh, rudy was literally posting that someone paid 1000$ for the rudy card during the sale, leading others to jump in (sales were pretty slow on the 1st bundle tbh as the doubt was already pretty high (bundle literally doubled in price from the last metazoo with half the boxes for a set that has a ton more supply)). Though this stuff was sold for MORE than market value, so no one really expected quick tendies as the market was already in a downward trend. I don't think people really expected the rudy card to lose ~80% of it's value in a month though and this certainly doesn't help. Rudy could have offered buyers of the 1st bundle a huge discount or put in a floor on the rudy card/playmat but he didn't, hence the wtf that is going on.

I fear his comment about the Christmas kit. He made it sound like he might swap out the Santa promo that couldn't make it in time with something else. What is that something else? The remaining stock of his first promo? Because he has given a lot more of those out than he initially stated he would. Which is a big reason people keep demanding he should burn those on film as well.

Lol ya first kit was not great because of only a single booster box but everyone was like the values in the promo stuff. Then flooding the market with more promos just kicked everyone in the balls while they were down.

It's more of mislead. The big selling point and almost all the value was in the: 1 x EXCLUSIVE Rudy Halloween Promo Card 1 x EXCLUSIVE Rudy Halloween Play mat. Pretty sure everyone bought in figuring there would be just this limited supply and not doubled up again. Literally almost all the value in that 1st kit was in that card and play mat.

Here come the pitchforks. But actually for slightly different reason than I expected. The kit is so good that everyone who bought the first rd and can’t afford this one are sour. Moral of the story. If your gut tells you you don’t like the price point of a kit, then don’t buy it. Even more so if that purchase will financially prevent you from being able to purchase any great kits down the road
