Maximizing profits means selling the most amount of cards for the highest amount. 1400/1500 sold at $1000 is pretty close to optimal sales. Obviously there wasn't enough buyers at $2000 or it would have sold out. You can believe all you want it was to stir up controversy and not to make sales. That is the genius of Rudy. He convinced you this was the purpose yet, surprise surprise he maxed out profits. I think too highly of Rudy to believe this was an accident.

How is $1,000 the perfect price point to maximize profits when he easily could have done $1,200 or $1,500 or $2,000? The price is irrelevant because collectively the patrons that did buy will set the market price. Sure Rudy made a lot of money but that wasn’t the point. It was to stir up controversy and talk about FaB as well as providing patrons an opportunity to buy a promo that will almost certainly double or triple in value due to very low supply.

The FOMO is actually weak as ebay sales are slow.

You should have confirmation from PayPal that money was sent. As long as the sale hasn't ended, which it hasn't, you're good. There's only been a few times where something sold out in minutes and Rudy did refunds or comps. The next notice you will get is shipping confirmation.

unfortunately not everyone share the same thoughts. we all have different reasons to get into the game and we all see different value in different thing and it's going to be hard to convince folk to the contrary. like with nft some like em some hate' em while others don't give a damn. instead of trying to make people understand just let time tell things the way it is and history be the judge of things. this may be a another tipping point for the game or it may be a it's dipping point. Those that want to get in can still get it. Those that don't can do whatever they want from the sidelines. I wrote this in a FaB World facebool group.. You guys all need to understand that the ENTIRE spirit of Rudy's card and promo is to wave the flag of believing in a game like flesh and blood that start small, are created with love, and that 97% of LGS' stores won't even bother selling because they think it's too weak, insignificant, or not valuable enough. THAT is the whole point. It's about believing in the inherent value and joy of a game like flesh and blood when everyone else sticks up their noses at it. Not hording or being rich or the finance of tcgs. It's about saying to everyone, "look, flesh and blood was really something extraordinary, and when you have a gem like that in your hand you should trust your gut and not listen to the haters." That's what these cards and his sale instead of these cards represents. It's an homage to believing in yourself really.

Once you account for fees and shipping and taxes they basically put 1k on the line to make 100. Maybe. Why bother unless you are balancing that with volume. Just seems silly. Flip for a large profit, wait a few years as an investment, hoard under your pillow for life, or just don't leverage that amount of money. Any other option just seems ridiculous to me. Absolutely bottom should be 2.5k when you bought two so selling one makes the second free.

So there's already less of these cards than stores carrying their products. To me, that is significant. Rudy being on the card is irrelevant. I just don't see this having real long term value. At this point FaB has grown beyond Rudy so I imagine there a significant portion of that fan base who don't even know who he is. And even if you just look at those that are aware of him, not all of them are exactly fans of his so the market for this card would just be people who are fans of both Fab and Rudy himself, most of whom I think would just be here to buy this promo now.

Because it’s the first promo ever made for Flesh and Blood, it has a unique history and story about the early stages of the game and the struggles of getting it off the ground, and playable or not it’s part of the master card list. So if you’re a collector your collection would never truly be complete without it.

I had no issues with my purchase. So if it is still pending PayPal may have flagged the transaction and put a fraud hold on your account. That can happen if A: you havent bought from Rudy before, or B: you have never made a large transaction of this size before. or C: Both. I highly recommend checking with PayPal.

I think the fact that Rudy is on the card is obscuring the facts. This promo 1 from 2019. It is not a promo with Rudy on it made by LSS as part of a Tales of Aria bundle. If Go Bananas is a 300 or 400 card. This is worth multiples of that.

Guys you can’t go off these eBay pre sales of the card, it could be people with multiple accounts buying there own stuff. They could do this to show that there is major gains to be made or to show the card is not worth it. You just have to put your faith in it if you are going to buy

I think it’s safe to assume that most everyone that wants 1, or 2, has purchased them. I think the numbers are going to be lower than we think. I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s some shenanigans in here were people are trying to make it seem like a lot more people are buying them. I’ve heard Rudy talk about patrons badmouthing sales to cast FUD while they pick up extras on the back end.

I think it’s more than 100-200 work hours. There was a lot of time and energy he had to invest to be able to get an opportunity like this. I think it’s good business 🤷🏽‍♂️

Even if this sells out, I don't think 1,500 is a huge quantity. I think Rudy underestimated how many people have $2000 to spend on 2. I mean, a few thousand patrons are giving him $15 a month for the opportunity to spend $500 a month on worthless cardboard. It's not like most of these people are living paycheck to paycheck if they're able to spend hundreds of dollar in disposable income on cards each month.

Reposting this from earlier, as there’s so many comments now many probably didn’t see the original post. Have gotten some good feedback thus far about a $5000 floor! I’d like to get as many Patrons as possible that bought tonight to comment on this. My goal is to come to a mutual consensus and attempt to set a floor price for the promo. Of course you don’t have to participate, but it would be helpful if as many as possible did, as we control the market now. In a perfect world, all those that wished to sell now would come up with a way to determine a ‘group’ of patrons that sell first, then the next, and so forth to maintain a steady price, but not everyone would like that. My personal vote is for ~$5000. I think anything less then $2500 basically defeats the purpose of having access to the card first, and anything higher then $5000 might limit sales to only the biggest of whales. I’m interested to hear from everyone! There’s power in numbers…

Thing about this card is it's also centered around Rudy himself. How many FaB fans will there be in the future who probably don't even know who he is will want it? Not many. The one's that know about him now are probably patrons buying it. Then some who aren't patrons may buy in the secondary market. But personally outside a few collectors who just want everything made, I don't see it being a super sought after card. Especially since it's not even playable or foil. But hey that's my opinion. I love this game Rudy is playing. I really do. But I got different Rudy voices in my head. The loudest Rudy in my brain is saying supply:demand. The supply is low and will be lower✅. But what about the demand? What demand will there be for this if it’s not a good card to play with, etc? ❌ So I’m gonna spend $2k! On dual lands that I’m missing. If my wife is gonna judge me at least my dual lands won’t enter tapped or have any other stipulation. How much is a Mox? Hmmm. I’m prepared to watch and enjoy. question... why will you be selling returns on the open market for damaged cards? shouldn't those be destroyed as well? isn't the idea to sell X and the ONLY cards in existence will be X + 10 (for you)? I’d like to get as many Patrons as possible that bought tonight to comment on this. My goal is to come to a mutual consensus and attempt to set a floor price for the promo. Of course you don’t have to participate, but it would be helpful if as many as possible did, as we control the market now. In a perfect world, all those that wished to sell now would come up with a way to determine a ‘group’ of patrons that sell first, then the next, and so forth to maintain a steady price, but not everyone would like that. My personal vote is for ~$5000. I think anything less then $2500 basically defeats the purpose of having access to the card first, and anything higher then $5000 might limit sales to only the biggest of whales. I’m interested to hear from everyone! There’s power in numbers…
