Alternate Ranger v3.7.0

Hey all, happy to post what I've been working on over the past few days - an update to the Alternate Ranger! Mostly changes (buffs) to favored foe, and finding ways for the various subclasses to make use of favored foe. I hope to post an update to the ALternate Ranger: Expanded in the next few days.

As always, I'm open to constructive feedback!

Hi Laserllama, I have really loved this alternate ranger and have now played it in 2 campaigns, one through 14th level, with the Hunter and Gloomstalker subclasses. Overall I think this is such a fun class especially the customization elements with the knacks. I should preference this by saying I have not read through all the changes in detail yet, but the new change to favored foe seems really strong compared to other core damaging abilities in other classes, especially compared to paladin smite which I think has been one of the key comparisons in other classes. In my playthroughs and unofficial playtesting, the favored foe as it was, was really strong, but not too strong. Also from another perspective, I am not sure what the change adds to class in helping to define it from other classes because just with the stacking of d6s it feels a little too close to the rogue in how it might play. although I have not played it yet and want to see how it feels before I really make that judgment. As I said I want to try it in play first, but I was just curious as to what your thinking was in reworking the ability? Overall I think this is by far the best ranger rework I have seen/played and as a player really appeals to my sensibilities, especially the customization elements, which I believe is the class's strongest element among many. Thanks so much for the great content and I always look forward to your designs whenever they come.

Good catch! I've updated it on the GM Binder page.

I think there is a problem with the Shadowbane Ranger, their 7th level ability states "Beginning at 7th level, whenever your favored foe forces you to make a saving throw, you can 1d6 to your roll." I'm guessing it was ment to be "you can add 1d6 to your roll."
