My plans for 2025

Today is the first of January, Happy New Year! I hope you're all doing very well.

Here's my plans for the new year. I will continue making loads of StarCraft 2 content in 2025, and who knows, maybe I will begin casting other games too (another RTS) if something comes along but YouTube uploads will continue coming your way.

Hello everyone!

November has been another solid month with loads of games and another StarCraft 2 offline event in the books. I just got back home yesterday from HomeStory Cup 26, despite some internet issues it was really good to meet all the StarCraft nerds in Krefeld once again. Another month, another update. Somehow it feels like this year is flying by, as we are already in the 4th(!) quarter of 2024.

I'm pretty happy with the way I'm currently playing in StarCraft 2. I'm sitting right around rank ~160-180 Grandmaster on the NA server and around ~5.3-5.4k MMR on EU.

New month, new replay pack!

Played quite a lot of StarCraft 2 in January. Managed to make it to Master 1 with Protoss and Terran (mostly playing dirty cheesy build orders) and finished the season in Grandmaster League with my Zerg. Replays of all three races are included in this pack.

With Zerg I've been playing a lot more map specific strategies. For example you will find more early aggression in these replays on Lightshade and on Submarine than on the other maps.

Hindsight is 2020

Well 2020 is officially one of the longest years in history (I mean, it was literally a leap year) and it's nice to be able to say Happy New Year!

All things considered, 2020 wasn't so bad for me personally. I'm grateful that I could continue doing what I do despite the world situation as it is. Let's hope 2021 will be better though (although that's not a particularly high bar to set).

Sales tax & Patreon

Hi everyone,

Quick update regarding sales tax on Patreon. I was recently notified that due to laws passing in several countries, Patreon is required to start charging a sales tax on some pledges starting on July 1st.

The amount in general should be relatively small, but I wanted to make sure everyone is aware. For example sales tax rates in the US range from 4% to 11%, so on a $5 pledge, that would be between 20 cents and 55 cents.
