Rudy's Opinion - The D&D release has been a huge disappointment at the distribution level. The sales and demand is very weak compared to Strixhaven and Kaldheim.

The product is very flavorful and unique. It will be very difficult to slot "dungeons" and the mechanics is future products. I believe this will be a fantastic long term sealed product. But i also believe the market simply "doesnt care" about it right now. Thw flow of money is still going towards Modern Horizons 2 and other areas.

I also expect a shortened print window since this is a core set replacement. Usually Summer "core" sets are only printed for 11-13 months compared to a normal spring/fall set. This adds another layer of uncertainty.

I do plan on having Set box vareity kits in the future for people wanting a smaller purchase.

missed this but it was too rich for my blood anyway. i would love to pick up some set and draft boxes when they become readily available at a good price. i think it is an incredibly fun "all inclusive" set and agree it doesnt jive that well with MTG overall. I can see DND Drafting being a fun experience for future players.
