Well Generations didn't have booster boxes either. To keep the spirit of a big milestone year, they make exclusive products so it would make sense to keep in line with what they did with Generations for the 20th anniversary which is ETBs, tins and packs only, no booster boxes. Plus the Celebrations packs only contain 4 cards and it's a very small set compared to most English sets in modern era printing.

I'm curious to see what celebration products he will be able to offer. It stinks that Pokémon doesn't offer booster boxes for the celebration.

I don't actually think this is going to sell out within 24 hours. People are gun shy as is, at that price point, and the possible damage to the outer product... unless its just a low amount of kits. I hope I'm wrong so Rudy can get his tacos.

As long as the boxes are still listed in this post (the monthly Patron Product List), they're still available. Rudy updates this monthly post if anything goes out of stock (and usually sends a heads-up a few days ahead of time if it seems like there is a run on a product and stock is getting low). As of this time of this post, Zendikar Rising and Kaldheim are available. If you paid for this month, you're eligible. Just be sure you include what you are ordering in the "Add a note" section within PayPal, as well as your Patreon-registered e-mail address if it is different than your PayPal address.

I just joined the patreon and its almost the end of the month. I signed up for the $15 account. Will I be able to purchase the 6 x boxed boosters per month? How can I find out if they are still available?

I posted a heads-up to this on my social media accounts shortly after it went up (and after I purchased my product). It got a decent amount of traction, so I'm assuming CF shipped a LOT of product today. The more that goes out, the more traction it gets. Unlimited may be unlimited, but it won't be printed forever. The mindset of "don't by unlimited" that some other patrons are expressing will only prove prescient if the game crashes. And if that happens, the 1st Edition will also tank. Unlimited boxes/cards will start climbing once the end of the print run for WtR is officially announced and there is an idea of what will ultimately be the "cycle" for the game.

Hopefully you guys got in on the ChannelFireball Ebay listings for Monarch Unlimited cases. If you had intrest in playing F&B Unlimited is great. I picked up 4 cases (4 boxes per case) at $200 average each afer shipping\tax. Pretty cheap. They are going for a little more now but, they are still going for like 220's

All $15+ tier members can buy the monthly product list. However there are limits (1 delivery, up to 6 boxes for the boxed boosters per month). Unless he's changed his policy he also allowed buying a case of a product separate from the 6 box limit. You also can buy from the sales he has every Friday (and additional days) as long as he has supply.

It can vary based on what else is going on in Rudyland. Typically, it's best to not get worried until 8-10 days after payment, and NEVER send a message until 10 days after. Also, be sure you check the details in the original post. It sometimes has specific shipping dates listed.

Custom pledges are NOT eligible. Just keep checking back. The $15.00 slots open up sporadically as people either cancel, get banned, or have their payment sources bounce. Best times to check are the first of the month, and anytime immediately after Rudy posts a video about a change in policy... LOL

Also new to the whole ordering boxes scheme, can someone tell me if you have to be in the 15 dollar tier specifically or if you can do a custom pledge of 15 dollars a month and still be able to order. It always says 15.00 patrons +, but never specifies if you need to be in the tier or if a custom pledge is ok, would love to know before I try to order a case.

For you longer term patrons. What is the general time from paypal payment to the product being shipped? My first shipment went out within 48 hours but it's been 96 since my second. Or is it just kind of random? just curious if I've missed text somewhere explaining the shipping system. TY

Magic Draft boxes have the 1 order per month restriction (up to 6 boxes, you can mix/match). You can also participate in any of the OTHER sales multiple times (give or take any individual limits/restrictions). HTH.

New here, hoping someone can help me with details on purchase limits: My understanding is that MAX, I can buy 6 standard boxes (only if order 6 at one time -- can't do two purchases in the same month) and additionally I can take part in all of the other sales listed. E.g. I could buy 6 Kaldheim draft boxes, a case of kaldhheim set boxes, a Strixhaven Commander 5 deck set, a 6 deck Kaldheim commander set, a FaB case, and take part in all of the Friday Night Specials? Is this correct? If not could someone please provide an example? I'm in the $15 tier if that changes things. Thanks in advance!

MAP doesn’t apply to WTR and ARC anymore. Only to products within 6 months after release. You can go lower on these boxes. :)

Combination of important factors. 1. Proof of audit and details so the seller can see the cards he sold to me and view my findings if anything weird is found 2. Accounting/Auditing/Tax purposes 3. Historical record keeping, i firmly believe in 20 years A/B/U era cards will literally be in muesuems and not on the market.

I've opened 2 draft boxes and 4 pre-release packs and didn't even get close to the cost of the sealed product. No Ragavan, no worth while foils, 2 Misty's, 1 Marsh, sure a bunch of <$15 stuff, but that's nearly impossible to move even at 80% of TCG low. You got lucky, imo. Unless it is the collector's box, MH2 is a sunk cost, in my experience. I mean, it was fun to open, but that's about it.

I bought 8 Modern Horizons 2 packs at my LGS today just for the hell of it and got over $190+ worth of cards. Pulled Ragavan Nimble Pilferer $75ish, Verdant Catacombs $32 , Cabal Coffers $25 and Marsh Flats $25, Yavimaya Cradle of Growth $10, Esper Sentinel $12, Dauthi Voidwalker $12 and that's not counting the uncommon and commons. These packs are a great value.

Guys like churdlefireballs got a special 33% markup permission because 1. MZ is having serious issues getting retailers and 2. CFB has a large customer base. I consider it sold out if you cant find it at msrp $99. But thats only because MZ cant get the right distributor deals to do a proper launch. Use their store locator and punch in random zips. You'll find virtually no lgs support. In fact half the hits are like tattoo shops and avon sales ladies...no joke. Then call some random lgs and you'll get 3 answers 1) metawho 2) my distributor doesnt have it and 3) my budget cant handle another ccg but maybe the next set Ill test the waters. I actually think MZ will be sitting on a lot of boxes and be forced to sell direct to consumer in Aug.. That all said kids love spooky lore, goosebumps, cringe scary youtube, fireside tale, beasties, etc.. If they could have gotten into the Wally's, target, drugstores, etc. it would have been a moonshot. Can the owner and team sustain a slow growth model until they figure out distribution??? If I were the owner I'd put some of the marketing capital he's using on youtube, tradeshows, merch, etc. and hire an experienced distribution/pitch(man or gal) expert pronto.

I feel like Metazoo is going to fall on its face i was going to preorder 1st edition booster boxes but the fact release is less than a month and I'm able to get some and they arn't sold out shows me 1) not as many peolpe are into it as people think OR 2) they have a ton of supply available which will drive the price down. 3) another way to look at it is collectors will only really see the kickstarter version as the "REAL 1st edition " making the actual 1st edition more like a unlimited standing cause the Kickstarter higharchy.

I have always wondered about these bundles. The per pack rate is normally cheaper than a draft box. Why is that? Is the pull rate different or is something missing from these packs?

Good question. Usually, it’s 90 or so days after the original release date, though Rudy has been keeping the Draft Box options more limited than in the past. We may have to wait until Zendikar drops off the list.

Do we know when - or if - Strixhaven draft booster boxes are expected to be added to the list of available products?

Heads up for folks looking for Modern Horizons 2 Draft Boosters: the Bundles are currently selling for $45-50, and they include 10 Booster Packs each, plus foil basics and the rather nice spin down die. Pretty good rate compared to Draft Booster Boxes at $210ish.

One order per month Is his general rule. So if you order June 30. You can order July 1st. But that’s it until aug (for standard boxes) but sealed cases that he sells don’t count towards your once a month. So you could order 6 Zendikar standard boxes, and then from the one limit per month stuff you can order one of each set case.

All my $$$ is tied up with old sealed Magic booster boxes that aren't selling right now due to the bearish market out there. I'm also saving for Forgotten Realms D&D MTG boxes but the torture is killing me.

Please dont let the bottom feeders buy copious amounts of MZ. As pokemon collapses these yoyo's will be jumping off and right into MZ for quick pump/dump. The game is already entering at a rocky point dont add fuel to the fire.

The sale and transactions will take place 5-8 days before release date on july 23rd. It takes a lot of time behind the scenes to process and prepare for releases to make sure all the product actually ships on release date.
