For what it’s worth I think you priced these appropriately if for no other reason than they sold out! It felt a bit too dear for me, so I ended up getting a bunch of leftover throne collector blister packs and a BFZ booster box instead. Gotta love 🔥 sales :) I’m hoping Commander Legends collectors will go down a bit in the near future but we’ll see.

Its all valid boys and girls. In the end there will be more of this product to go around, or not. Getting it at Rudy's price is legit, at least its 5 bucks below the standard MSRP. I just personally come at it from the fact that commander itself has brought me back to magic. And I feel it has for alot of other people. And if I was papa hasbro I would realize that, lol doesnt mean that they do. And yes jumpstart is a great point of mention. Jumpstart was a fucking wierd product but it was fucking sweet. And it did well. And they didnt make more. All legit. So in the end in not grabbing collectors edition for sealed or anything else. Personally when it comes to magic i open my boxes and have a nerdy Ole time. And ultimatley I hope everone else does too. If u paid 60 bucks more than u could later than Fuck it at least u got the sweet cards. And in the end thats all that matters. Good luck everyone

Totally! I'm fine with you expressing your opinion. I just think there's plenty of excitement already in the high-paced sales like last week's CMR draft boxes. The difference between that sale and this one is that there was a sufficient enough product that a good number of patrons could get some, if they were diligent enough. This would have been a much messier and angrier sale had it had any sort of substantial discount, and the large majority of patrons would not have gotten the product (even if he had limited it to 1 box instead of 2). He doesn't prefer that ethos in his Patreon, which I think is healthy. We want panic sales, not slaughter sales. LoL As to your last point, that it would be fine as long as it has an explanation like this one did, I don't think that would help at all. First, there's really no explanation to give -- just "Pricing this at a steep discount to benefit the lucky few patrons, so order within 2 minutes or you'll miss out!" Second, a panic sale doesn't lend itself well to explanations. We're all too busy trying to order in the first 5 minutes to have a chance to read any sort of explanation. Really, what this comes down to is a classic "good of the many vs good of the few" argument. You'd argue for the good of the few -- survival of the fittest -- that those who are quickest on their feet get (what seems to be believed to be) the primary benefit of patronage: steep discounts. Aside from disagreeing with the premise that that's the main perk of being a patron, I also would argue for the good of the many. And that happens to be how Rudy designed this sale. I think the good of the many is overall better for patrons in the long run. Just my 10 cents. ;)

I am not knocking or harassing others with a different view just giving my “viewpoint” on how I see it playing out. The people I feel for the most sorry for in this situation is Rudy and local LGS's. My local store only got 13 boxes allocated from their distributor. Rudy a big dog got only 500ish? Wizards and covid have made a situation where noone wins. I really appreciate the opporunity to buy from someone i trust.

I’m betting on this, and went ahead and grabbed 2. I think the COVID lockdowns hurt supply, and they printed what they wanted and are trying to get their other products printed for 2021 instead of redoing this. Could be wrong, but I think supply will stay tight as their printer tries to keep the current surge at bay.

While the price is substantially high i have the opposite opinion of Rudy. As everything else has gone in 2020 I think this will go as well. They have printed what they can and there will be no more then a slow trickle coming into the market(ie jumpstart) as Pap Hasbro is already onto the next big thing. With a vikings and Harry Potter(wizards) themed set coming out next year they are alredy revving up the printing for that(at least what they can) with every state looming at more restrictions and the incoming administration talking about a 6-8 week complete lockdown the supply is going to be very weak. I don't believe they will have additional print runs for this product though I do see them coming out with a CL2 Similar to MH2 once the flow of things have opened up again. Now I hope I am wrong but based on how things have gone this year I am hedging my bets.

I agree on the tanking, I see these going for 199 around xmas first of the year. If wizatds doesnt make more, then ya they will be 400+ but it would be beyond retarded not to make more of this product. Got my 2 booster boxes coming at 110 a piece w/ shipping so that will satisfy for now

People cancelling their subs over this need to stay the course. I for one, subscribe to Rudy, 1. Because his videos and methodology are awesome and provide me with lots of entertainment. 2. The fact that retail standard boxes are 100+ and he sells them for 79.99 shipped... And 3. He is a trusted seller. Go ahead and buy "sealed product" on eBay, you run the risk of buying resealed, chinese counterfeit, or worse, getting straight up black balled because eBay doesnt care enough to protect consumers. I will be a patron of Creepy Rudy until he decides to hangup the playmat whether he sells flashy product for discount or not.
