im personally really surprised. rudy is offering some great deals in ADDITION to the VAST KNOWLEDGE he already gives us. Many patreons don't even sell anything besides Merch (some patreon's sell photos... lol). A lot of patreons is just to show your support - but then we have a guy like Rudy who is selling boxes at the cheapest prices he can, to his fans. This is my first patreon i subscribed to because i felt i learned a lot and since i learned a lot i felt that it would be worth subscribing. Why can't they wait until next Friday? lol. If one "deal" makes or breaks their subscription then they need to re-evaluate why they're participating in the patreon .

It's really weird to see people react so negatively, specifically the resentment and anger part of it. I understand being disappointed but it seems like some are getting nasty about it as if Rudy did them wrong. He didn't. Everyone was given notice. How do we know that? Well, beyond the actual emails / Patreon announcements, seems blatantly obvious since hundreds of people were ready at the helm and ready to order immediately. We aren't just sitting by our computers for nothing... we were warned and planned accordingly. Personal responsibility is a tough thing, but blaming others instead of looking within is the path to nowhere.

Many of us are thankful for all the hard work you do and hours you put in. I maybe kicking myself in the head with a sledgehammer for missing the great opportunities for those deals at times, but you atleast offer them. People should be glad you can help get product for us like.

If patrons want to leave, why should anyone here care? If they decided that they weren't getting value for their money, I'll take their word for it. --- Personally, I would have expected people who really wanted this product to have already purchased elsewhere for the same, or less.

I was reading to kiddo in bed... alarm went off 5 mins before sale... Son was like what's that? Daddy needs to go to the bathroom. "Not a long one right?" No son... Not a long one.

I actually made the case purchase within a few minutes of going on sale. I was out in the cold, at my daughter’s softball game, bottom of the last inning with time winding down, and at 8:58pm my daughter is just about to go up to bat with the tying run on base....and I’m scoring the game on my IPad as I’m an assistant coach! Not easy but I quickly got it done on my phone....and with a minute to spare as I watched my daughter hit a triple to win the game. No lie. You couldn’t make this up. Win Win I guess. Set the alarms and keep trying guys. I’m sure Mr Rudy will have many more sales.

Wow sad to hear some people closed their accounts simply cause they couldn't get the boxes on sale. I missed out on a lot of Rudy sales myself since 2018 but it's not the end of the world. Stay the course. Rudy will always have more sales. Don't act rash and close your account. You won't get back in again. Just be patient and as Rudy says "just enjoy life".

We all know Rudy has come back with more of these types of products for people who have missed out in the past. If we used more common sense and less emotion works would be much better place.

Thinking about how this sale went down and reading a few negative comments.... I'd like to throw in my two cents. Remember fellow patrons, that we were given a great opportunity with this sale... And that's simply what this was, an opportunity. Rudy mentioned this sale earlier in the month, gave us all a 24 hour notice and the sale was live for 6-7 minutes. Please don't bash Rudy if you didn't send your payment on time. Again, he gave us the opportunity to buy this, the action is on us as individuals to utilize this opportunity if we so desire. 6-7 minutes to take advantage of an opportunity is plenty of time for those prepared and dedicated enough to take action. We all knew that this would be a fast seller and will be an amazing product. To log in at 9:10 and realize the sale is over does suck, I can respect that. But understand, that was not the fault of Rudy, that is on the individual. He does a lot for us as magic players, investors and 3% ladies and I for one would like to say thanks man. Always appreciate the opportunities that you offer us. Remember everyone, it's a crazy year and a wild world... Always look at your own actions before you make judgement against others. May all your tacos always remain floppy, may your pulls be plentiful and may you never have to Mulligan an opening hand

I feel like this has happened more than once now where people get upset enough to cancel their patreon haha when you run out of inventory or other over reactions. Do they not understand that this will probably not be the ONLY commander legends sale? Also, if you need it so fast and cant wait a month or 2 just buy it for slightly more to support your lgs.

Vincent, per the email for the Com Legends Commander deck sale "Please send payment now if you are intersted...NO NEED TO COMMENT BELOW." So that was a no comment sale that you mis-read. But things do sell out quickly I've learned. So if there's something you want you can't hesitate. I've hesitated on more than one occasion and lost out. But that was my fault entirely. I don't understand these rage quitters when something isn't handed to them...

Took a nap at the wrong time, but would not think about leaving the patreon. Joining was one of the better decisions I've made magic-wise in a long time. 80 bucks a box shipped is a great price. I usually buy 3 a month so it works out to 85 apiece including my membership. No store or even ebay can beat that!

Frankly, without the sales I probably wouldn't have signed up for the Patreon... but there's been plenty of months where I purchased nothing - get caught up in another hobby or whatever, personal stuff and all that... And whether I buy anything or not, I certainly feel Rudy more than earns that $15 a month from me, cuz I still enjoy his videos and I have learned a lot about stocks and investment watching him.

I also forsee that the box price will hopefully steady out and we can get it at a more reasonable usual price as it is a print to demand product.

Yea last night he put out a post that said this specific item would go on sale at exactly 9pm est and to set an alarm if you wanted in. I actually forgot to set mine and missed out got my notification at 9:08 and by the time I had the PayPal app pulled up got the notification it was sold out :/ but I got one of their actual patron slots so their our loss is my gain 🤷‍♂️

I didn’t sign up for the Patreon because of sales. Supporting a content creator directly makes more sense then funneling an inconceivably small amount to a creator through YouTube. The sales are a nice bonus.

I was upset that it sold out so quickly, and more upset that I commented on the commander deck as requested then it was just released maybe that was my misunderstanding of post. But anyhow if a product sells quicker than expected it is not Rudy's fault, crap happens, so be it. Hoepfully I will get commanders legend at some point but either way I still respect Rudy and his communication. And when I said I was upset, I am upset that I missed out, I dont blame anyone
