A bitter sweet sale tonight, I had ALL the leftover zen collector boxes from NY/NJ part of the country shipped to Florida. Unfortunately, all this product was from 30 small stores that never reopened due to Covid. So i had the 3 pallets moved to Florida. It is what it is :-/

I am keeping 500 for the future and box openings.

2020-11-01 20:29:30 +0000 UTCI wish I did not spend so much ordering these collector boxes the first time around (from here and at lcs) knowing the prices would drop so much. 120$+ is a very significant saving had I known. I don't blame Rudy for setting the prices initially like he did, Because it lead everyone get the chance on getting the products the first time around. But still Wallet fatigue is real. I might just hold off on Commander Legend till a solid price is established or something.

2020-11-01 14:52:13 +0000 UTCSame. Two boxes for $479.99 vs $409.99 is significant. Although I had the same chance to buy more at the lower price, I feel... I dunno... it just feels "weird" that there was a strict limit of 2 at $240 a box and now boxes were available in a full case for $195 taxes and shipping. I'll chalk it up to a distributor who had a lot of product that stores couldn't take, Rudy having to take a lot of other stuff he sometimes doesn't want, and having the bank roll to accumulate these large left over positions. He could have kept prices higher, I suppose. So I even kinda really talked myself down in "how I feel" about the boxes being available so much cheaper now. It makes sense. When he sold us our first boxes at $240, he wasn't sure he would get any more. He was probably thinking he wouldn't get any more. And then, it's not the same thing as him simply placing another order. I get it.

I have been watching eBay,. A lot of auctions are closing early to give the appearance of a sale, then relisted. 209$ is a fantastic price point if I were playing magic, which I'm not unfortunately as wizard has apparently made stores stop doing events (gestapo). I instead spent my hobby money this week on dividends stocks because earning call were this week and the market closed record weekly low. Lol

Demand is still strong among players who are playing in person, and MTG Arena is highly competitive. The cards WILL rebound eventually, and there is a decent amount of power here, just not when compared to TBD, ToE, and M21. I think this cycle is going to struggle until the next rotation, then will pick up steam.
