~ March Mid Month Important Updates ~

The Flesh and Blood Promotional video is coming in the next 48 hours, i am going to launch the 1 time sale Sunday Night 3/15/2020. Details will come out in the video tomorow. 

Simliar to the argent sage promotion with the company, it is a 1 time shot to help promote the game, it will sell out, and i cant get anymore at half price.

The variety kit will have the Starter "brick", booster boxes, promo cards, playmats,intro decks...all for about the same $200 price point. Hands down, epic price.

Overall, i am extremely impressed by this new product, it has been a long time since i have seen a game with a new "feel" to it yet has great quality and a lot of resources behind it. The concept of "gear" and unique items built around the Diablo/Path of Exile concept is going to have a lot of people interested. 

Being able to offer this package with the 1st release is special, since we have no idea what the future holds. They have an expansion already coming soon for the future months

Challenger decks coming soon and the preorder sale will come out towards the end of the month, i dont have my quantity and pricing yet :-(

Mystery boxes are WPN exclusive items also, the print run is low. There will be a 2nd print run of Mystery boxes....but i still dont have access to it. I think the price per box will hold over $100.00+ each and level out between $100-$150 as the hype moves to the next thing. Long term, i have no idea, we have no hisotry of this type of item.

Ikoria Commander and Ikoria Collectors boxes will be offered at release date. 

Ikoria standard 79.99 boxes will be offered after allocation period ends. I expect this set to last a full 60 days due to strong sales.

I am still watching Theros and overall the standard boxes are calming down and trending sideways in price now. As long as this continued over the next 30 days, i will bring back Theros boxes for 79.99. At this time it is still not worth the risk with so many good products coming and it will be in print for the next 12 months.

I will be honest...with the fear and anxiety with the Coronovirus, i am seeing more vintage singles and sealed boxes coming to market. I am also having an major increase in amount of people contacting me to sell collections. This time around, i am also noticing people are "OK" with the lower prices. I feel this downward pressure will continue to push reserved list cards down in the next 3-6 months. Take your time, build your positions for long term. Dont be a hero and all go in.

Same thing with Wallstreet, You need to be increasing your retirement account contributions and monthly savings during these time periods. The Stock market will remain crazy for a while, it usually takes 6-18 months for markets to calm down. Dont be a hero...dont get FOMO and go all in. But you should be adding weekly contributions with prices like this.

SECRET LAIR-

So the general opinion right now is most people are VERY ANGRY including stores/distributors about the Fetchland Secret lair announcement. I will not be getting any of them since it is a WPN only item again.

In addition WPN stores will only receive between 4-10 boxes per store. its pathetic.

As predicted 45 days ago, i discussed with everyone wizards is going to continue to move Secret lair pricing up from 29.99 to 39.99 to 49.99 and now estimate 164.99 for 5 cards.

I think this is something they have been planning for a long time and with the weakening economic conditions, this is almost like an ace up the sleeve to generate money and keep revenue strong.

Like i stated last month, i believe Ikoria is going to be a big success and the end of the year Zendikar set will be a home run and wizards will produce strong numbers even during a damaged economy.

I do believe fetchlands will be offered in other products coming up, so dont worry about it. As stated in the last 4 years on youtube, we will NEVER see fetchlands in a 79.99 standard box again. Khans of Tarkir was the LAST standard box to ever have them. Todays message clearly reinforces that as official.

Final thought, when economic conditions worsen. Less people buy magic. Even less people are going to be investing during this time period.  Similar to 2008 every mtg sealed product released during that time period sky rocketed 7 years later with the average return in mtg sealed boxes being around 400%-800%.
