I’ve been looking for a solution to running RF only consoles at my filming/electronics desk, hopefully this will work well enough. It’s actually meant to be installed into a car so it’s not plug and play but I only need to add a power connector.
The “RF to AV” adaptor I have is woefully unreliable, I know those exist and I’m hoping this is better.

Cadence of Hyrule just came in the mail. I actuallly finished this game a while back but it wasn’t my cartridge. Now I have my own. I really liked this game.
I bought Crypt of the necrodancer afterwards but found it too difficult. Cadence of Hyrule was much more enjoyable and is mostly not randomly generated. Also I like Zelda games.

I kinda like it. The power switch and volume control are built into the same knob so you turn it all the way down then it clicks off just like an 80’s tv!
It has a mix of regular nes/famicom games and hacks of games.
It did only come with one controller though.

The left stick shaft had been grinding against the clear plastic ring and felt rough during gameplay. Seems like a design flaw a lot of people have experienced.
I bought some silicon stick protectors online and it feels much better now. I had to put two on each stick because they weren't wide enough so it's lucky I bought extras.
I do wonder how long they will last though.

There are a lot of motherboards, mostly aussie Super Nintendo, couple of Sega Master System II, one Sega Mega Drive II Plus mostly complete ps1 and ps2 consoles and an xbox 360 elite.
I expect nothing works but should provide parts for future projects.

Just picked up this bundle of Game Boy parts from someone who built a bunch of custom systems with aftermarket cases etc. There are no internals other than a couple of LCD screens. Some are in better shape than their matching counterparts in my collection so I'll do some upgrades with those and I'm not sure what the rest will be for. it'll probably be something fun though!

That’s a 60GB PS3 too so it’s the PS2 backwards compatible model everyone is after :) hopefully I can fix everything.

It’s an Atari 2600 clone which looks like a Nintendo Famicom. This particular branding is Australian exclusive. The colour scheme may be too but I’m not certain.
This is actually my second one of these, my other one fell of my shelf and is now reassembled with hot glue 😢

The Atari Lynx battery pack is not rechargeable! It just lets you use six D batteries instead of the usual six AA batteries.
The orb game thing is upsidedown. Whoops.

Not sure how to use it yet but in classic aliexpress fashion it came preloaded with amiibo roms.
Edit: it pretends to be whatever amiibo figure you choose so you don’t have to buy the amiibos to get the in game content.
