Rudy, I was thinking about this borderless-art thing. Do you think this is an attempt to cut back on counterfeiting, since it's harder to produce cards with edge-to-edge art, due to the print/cut precision required?

I just can't believe WoTC had the BALLS to increase the MSRP. Sure it looks like the mythics are all good and there’s a handful of good rares.. That doesn't mean they have to raise the MSRP. I personally think it's just them trying to dip into the singles market.. Can anyone honestly provide a more reasonable explanation other than greed? It's not like these really cost any more than any other magic set.. Sure theres a foil per pack, but they also don't have to pay a design team to create cards since they are all reprints.

What angers me is that that they aren't "real" full art. Some of them even look bad they say they did it. You could get a custom painted one that looks way better.

rudy i really hope you resist the urge to keep this set ......and you sell it to your patreons at just above cost

this is going to be like black friday..there will be blood in the streets...they wont be able to print enough...all the masters sets are tanking like crazy..cards down $6, 7 and 8 bucks each

i just did a comparison and it looks like they took all the top cards from original masters, 2015 and 2017 and put them into one set

if they add all the artifact equipment swords(fire and ice etc) at rare to this set..and reveal mox opal will be in there as well...and i will poop....

the 40 cards revealed that this set is absolutely loaded...i bet if you put a side by side comparison with original modern masters and this stacks up right with it....its absurd how loaded this set is...id be willingi to bet it goes for $350 plus out of the gates...and the box topper cards that everyone is raving about are weak, lol...all they do is take a little bit of of the boarder off....now what they shoudl have done is make those box toppers like the kaladesh inventions and just made them an extension of that series...then i bet the boxes would push the $400 mark...those kaladesh inventions are absolutely amazing....probably the best looking magic cards ever

This should be called disgraceful reprint masters where Wotc steals reprint equity from collectors - I know my sentiment won't popular.

Thank you Rudy. If there isn't too many bulk rares and mythics I think this could be somewhat decent but the higher MSRP definitely needs to be justified and A25 and Iconic has me doubting WotC when it comes to this. Though Dominaria, GRN, and Ixalan give me a little hope they know how to put together a set of cardboard.
