I ran into some issues that prevented me from updating Funkypedia.com with new content on AWS because of the way the tool-kit works with Docker after the recent updates to the platforms. I knew I would have to eventually move Funkypedia to a cheaper host and obviously the upcoming browser version of the Funky-spice Game will need to run on a cheaper host than AWS.
I think I've found it!
Funkypedia is now hosted at http://funkypedia.somee.com/ it'll take a few days for the DNS to update but the regular address (funkypedia.com) should work for you as it did before, and the new Episode 4 bundleis also on sale at http://funkypedia.somee.com/Mercenaries Watch out, the latest installment contains two transformation scenes (one of them is zapper(tm) growth) and is twice the size of a regular issue!
Funkypedia is still not HTTPS enabled but the sales platform IS secure and has always been. It's a 3rd party called send-owl and they process payment through PayPal but you can use pretty much any credit card through PayPal even if you don't have an account.
I ran into another issue with We- hooks, specifically the receiver for ko-fi.com web-hooks which I had setup on Azure as an experiment. The experiment ended up costing me a lot more $$ than expected so I moved it back to AWS where it won't be free but it won't cost any more than the Patreon web-hook receiver.
If you don't know what web-hooks are, they are a quick and simple way of updating data across services and In our case, they allow the subscriptions to auto-magically activate the user account for game access.
Now as a reminder, there are no new stories or updates coming out this month because I'm driving with the 5' MILF to an off the grid location... Let's hope she gets stung by a radio-active mosquito and grows out of her clothes on our way back! (Is it too much to ask really?)
See you all in September with a new BRIDECRAFT story and a progress report on the browser game!
