Still working on 9.1
Added 2019-04-07 21:09:27 +0000 UTCI know some of you are waiting on it to go forward past Jan 2019 (Game date) but there is still some important work to be done on 9.1 before its ready. I am still aiming at a pre-Easter weekend update.
I might be a couple of days without a PC this week while the bad RAM goes away and the good one comes in so if some reported bugs don't get acknowledged as fast as usual, that might be the reason.
One improvement 9.1 will bring beyond what was previously announced, is better support for various display resolutions, especially ultra-wide displays which I found out warped the UI in a way that bubbles didn't line up with the characters at all. We'll have a new UI aspect ratio manager to prevent that in 9.1
On a personal note, if my weekend was a comic book the tittle would be "Old man Snotling" Yep, I got through it but IKEA furniture gets heavier with age. Maybe that could be the theme of a story where an aging man with a younger wife come to terms with his limited capacity for lifting heavy stuff and she takes over all the physical work getting real buff over time and dominating him like he'd never thought possible.
Every time Real life becomes more demanding, I tell myself that I have to put in at least 8 hours of solid coding during the weekend... Otherwise its like I'm stealing from you guys. On a good weekend it will be more like 10-12 hours. A perfect weekend would be coding non stop: switching from coffee to beer and back again until I can't do it anymore and my inner geek feels like he didn't go through computer science to make drawings with excel and validate business plans.
Enough ranting, Have a good week you all.

Different people, different expectations... I'm not saying quality should suffer but I do need to keep a certain pace to keep the project on track. And while some people support the artist others support the project. This second group understandably values progress over the artistic process.
