Hosting is all set, including images!

So, last week I setup the server hosting game data. This weekend I started working on compiling the installer, Good thing I still have a couple of weeks before Alpha launch because I've encountered an interesting challenge with the game client after install, the images folders were broken.

I thought including the images with the client, making it a bigger download but running faster afterwards was a good trade-off but it wasn't the case. the new way I'm doing it is actually faster...

Of course, every first time you need an image it needs to download itself but for every following times, the game uses a local copy. This way the installer won't grow much bigger at every update and we'll all save on bandwidth!

So yeah, the August reward should be the first Alpha build!

Not much of a reward if you ask me because the game is still pretty much barren of much of the fun stuff. Fun features will be added as they are finished, starting with "Dates" and other new ideas I'm keeping secret for now...

As Alpha testers you'll get the first taste of the GUI, and I'm counting on you for comments and criticism... Also I expect some of you to tell me it's just not working and there is this bug and that bug... Which I will make my mission to make better in the following days.

The game should reach a "somewhat entertaining" Level before we reach Beta.
