Apprentice Update

Hi Patrons

I hope you enjoyed Tankfest 2024. We had a busy time beforehand preparing our own vehicles and helping guest vehicles.

During Tankfest I was the fuel courier, managing the supply to vehicles during the three days.  I also participated in the opening display, commanding the Warrior which I enjoyed. The work continued afterwards as we washed down the vehicles and parked them up.

During Tankfest the Light MK4 started to run awfully. So after Tankfest we brought it into the workshop for a compression test. Four out of six cylinders had good compression, however cylinder four had slightly less and cylinder five had half the desired compression, and also oil in the cylinder.

In this picture you can see me taking the measurements of the cylinder block of the Tiger 131's Maybach engine, to make a technical drawing to have a head gasket made.

Does Maybach help with parts and specs for 131? I know she's 80 years old, but it would be great since Maybach still builds tank engine packs.
