November Update - Monthly Round Up

December Break and Changes in the Future

I will be taking December off this year as I need some time to myself to chill and see if I can remember how to actually relax for the sake of mental health. This means that there will be no release in January.

I will also be taking this time to think about how I continue in the new year. Over the the last two years the work I produce has evolved. I want to continue to do so and explore new ideas and characters with the potential of unified themes and characters occupying shared settings and narratives similar to Death's Champions from 2020 (Mortaya, Shryka, and Magdalena).

Poll Sketches

In November's poll and in future polls I will no longer be adding sketches. Quite simply, I don't have time to do them anymore. Ritual Casting isn't a team of people, it's just me and I handle everything (concepting, sculpting, decimating, rendering, key cutting, exporting, mesh repair, hollowing and venting, supporting, test printing, print clean up, print test construction, post writing, customer support, file management and distribution, product upkeep on website and MMF, and being accessible on Discord) with help from my wife in the test printing and prints for physical orders from my store. I work around the clock and I just can't keep it up so some things are going to have to change for the sake of my health, wellbeing and quality of my work.

The poll sketches, as a result, will be replaced with a detailed character description giving the concept, idea and personality of the character, accompanied by reference images that will provide inspiration for theme, pose, and content.

October Content - Now Expired

The links for October's content have now expired. Senua will be available on my website today for anyone who missed her. My Mini Factory emails will be sent out over the next couple of days (depends how long it takes them to publish the upload).

LINKS TO OCTOBER CONTENT ARE NOW INVALID - NEW ONES FOR NOVEMBER WILL BE POSTED ON THE 3RD NOVEMBER.

Poll Winner - Pvt. First Class Reodriguez

Rodriguez has won the poll. I will be sculpting her throughout November for release in December. I shall share work in progress shots as I go.

Comments

Your work is astounding, but nothing is more important than your health. Enjoy the break and here's to more awesome in '22.

Everybody needs a break now and again, so enjoy the month off. If you want to release one of your older sculpts - I'm fine with that. If you would rather not release anything - I'm good with that too.
