'Wanderlust' Teaser!
Added 2023-11-22 15:25:36 +0000 UTCAs most of you know, after a comic finishes I need a week to prep the NEXT one, making all the characters and assets and writing the script and all that fun stuff. In lieu of a regular drop, I have a teaser here for the cover art of the 'Wanderlust' magazine being used in the comic π The comic will ALSO be called 'Wanderlust', and it's the comic based on the idea you guys all voted for in the polls a few weeks back, although the working title for the comic back then was 'Shifter Subscription': After Hours will have it's regular release later this week, though it MAY be a day or so late just because I'm doing a bunch of travelling between now and then so I might need an extra day to work on it. Either way though, it'll be here for you this weekend π Let me know any thoughts or hopes for Wanderlust! Much love, Nexy xx

It's the festive season and it is truly a season to be jolly!!! The name leaves a lot to the imagination in terms of potential settings and characters (something travel themed perhaps?). My expectations are a story that's fast paced and gets into the meat of the action fairly quickly; a story that's fun all around. My hopes though is that there's substance to be found and things don't get too crazy with the potential line-up of characters or potential transformations. I think a smaller cast of characters, although maybe not as exciting, allows for a more interesting story to be told and stops things simply becoming a 'showcase'. As contradictory as this statement sounds I hope there's some underlying narrative (but the story in itself doesn't necessarily have to be narrative heavy) to stitch everything together nicely (so something like Stream Sniped that was character heavy and fast-paced but was still well substantiated by the narrative, themes and setting).
