August 2025 update

It's monthly update time! Yay!

I have once again been busy with my job, but to my surprise, I actually got a lot of writing done! In fact, unless something goes horribly wrong, I will likely finish Fate Weaver's Legacy part 2 this month! Damn! It's been so long!

So what's gonna happen after that?

Well, I'm probably going to take a bit of a break from posting anything (for at least a week or two) and perhaps even a break from writing altogether, but after that, I've been wanting to finally start writing Soul Split Chronicles and make that into my new long-term project.

As for Weaver, I will likely go over it, make some edits, and turn it into E-books later. And after I do all of that, I'll be ready to continue to write part 3 and beyond.

Besides that, I still have many other projects on my mind, but just not enough time or energy to focus on everything all at once. Not while having a job.

That being said, I've been trying to modify my daily routine and workflow to make it easier to write more (which worked somewhat well, considering how much I've written the previous month despite having so many shifts at work) and I'm hoping to improve on that front even more!

Now... I have to confess to something. See part of me started to wonder whether these monthly updates are even necessary if I don't have any groundbreaking news for you all. Whether I should just stop doing them since they sometimes feel pointless. But honestly? Even if I don't have much to say, I still like them as a sort of self-reflection rambles. After all, if I don't have much to say in a monthly update, that kinda makes me want to work harder so that I do have something to say in the next one. That kind of thing, you know?

It actually works so well for my motivation that I was considering doing a weekly 'coming up next' sort of thing that I've seen some other writers do on their Patreons. But eh, probably would be too much for me at the moment.
