The Crippled Vampire Prince Walks The Heavenly Demon Path Chapter 208: Camilla's Resolve

-----

RUMBLE!

The gigantic stone leg slammed into the barrier, the nuns’ combined divine power barely managing to withstand its immense weight. The spiderweb beneath served as a sturdy cushion, absorbing the overwhelming kinetic force that rippled outward. Even the small Territory Guardian Beast of Elderbridge, Artemis, stirred, her eyes snapping open as she began channeling her powers to protect her home.

“Kyuuu, kyuuu!”

Artemis let out adorable sounds, though her mandibles were clenched tightly as she strained to resist the crushing force. Her powerful Aura enveloped the entire city, and the people inside watched in awe as a glistening light radiated outward, harmless even to those sensitive to such elements.

Crack, crack…!

However, cracks began spiderwebbing across the barrier, shaking the city to its core. People stumbled to the ground, and some older buildings collapsed, unable to withstand the relentless tremors. Despite instructions to stay in shelters, panic drove some citizens to flee, ignoring the warnings.

“KYUUUUUU!”

Artemis roared, unleashing her full power once more. She activated her Skill: [Heavenly Spiderweb of Light Domain] at maximum strength. Heavenly Light surged from her body, flowing into her spiderwebs and making them visible to the onlookers. The webs grew several times tougher and more resilient, holding the colossal stone in place. But they would eventually collapse unless someone destroyed—or better yet, eradicated—the stone entirely.

That’s where Camilla stepped in…

“Don’t worry, keep it up! I’ll take care of it!”

Camilla sprinted across the walls. The nuns tried to stop her, convinced she was being too reckless.

“Young Lady, stop!” Landy cried.

“We have to tell the civilians to evacuate instead!” Grayshade urged.

“Oh no, the children! Have they all reached the shelters?!” Oblivia wailed.

“We’ll have to hope they did!” Bloodilia gritted her sharp teeth. “Ugh…!”

Camilla fixed her gaze on the giant stone leg. Her Psychic Power and Void Energies converged into a single point, her aura expanding into a massive, faint silhouette resembling a squid with countless arms stretching in every direction.

“{Mind Realm Expansion}!”

Her mind spread outward, seizing control of the massive stone, over two hundred meters tall. Blood trickled from her nose as she pushed herself beyond her limits.

“Now…! Please… Squidy! Help me!”

“…”

The squid’s powers surged through her. Camilla clenched her fists and roared.

“Disappear!”

“{Hollow Void}!”

TRUUUM!

A black and gray void materialized, engulfing the entire stone leg and rapidly disintegrating it. Camilla unleashed all her power at once, draining her Arcana and Psychic Energy in an instant. The stone vanished, leaving only a fleeting black flicker before everything subsided.

“I-I did it… Ugh…”

The girl collapsed, passing out on the spot.

“Lady Camilla!”

“The princess is down! Someone heal her!”

“Nuns, come here!”

The soldiers panicked as the nuns rushed to Camilla’s side, no longer needing to maintain the barrier. They used their Blood Moon Goddess Healing Magic, particularly effective on vampires, to tend to her.

Slowly, the girl recovered, teetering on the brink of death…

“She’s a brave girl…” Grayshade smiled, cradling her in her arms.

“It seems the crisis was barely averted, but there’s more happening outside…!” Landy said, her voice heavy with worry.

“We’ll have to hope Mother Scarlet and the prince can handle it…” Oblivia sighed, black tears streaming down her face.

“Yeah, no other option either way…” Bloodilia muttered.

Meanwhile, in the Dark Forest, an Ancient King bellowed in fury. His giant mount had been destroyed, leaving only its limbless body, now useless to him.

“YOU DAMNED, PUNY INSECT!”

He roared as Ezekiel soared into the skies, unfurling massive insectoid wings and diving toward the Vampire Noble.

“P-Protect me!”

Ausberth shrieked in panic as his giant monsters charged into battle against Ezekiel. Massive cyclopes swung their colossal arms, only for Ezekiel to summon a crystal sword and slice them into ribbons. A blazing dragon from the mountains roared, unleashing a devastating breath attack, but Ezekiel tanked it with his bare body. He reached the dragon, clamped its jaws shut with one hand, and stabbed it through the neck, severing its head and tossing it aside.

He continued his massacre, slaughtering every brainwashed monster or dragon Ausberth had enslaved using the technology provided by that strange visitor. Even as proton cannons were aimed at him and fired, Ezekiel deflected the beams with punches, kicks, or split them apart with his sword.

He seemed utterly invincible!

“W-What is that thing?! Who is that bastard?!”

Ausberth trembled in horror, retreating as he frantically aimed the cannons—previously used to obliterate the Mountain Dragon Golem’s leg—at Ezekiel.

“Distract him! Keep him in place!”

Ausberth screamed. Bloodfang and Sharpclaw glared at him with fury, then turned their attention to Ezekiel, who advanced toward them, methodically massacring the giant monsters one by one.

“Damn it! We can’t run from him; he’ll just chase us!” Bloodfang cried. “Charge! Today, we die like the warriors we are!”

“OOOOHHHH!”

“Kehehehe! So this is it, huh?! Damn it all! I should’ve never agreed to work for a filthy noble!” Sharpclaw howled. “Let’s go, my hounds! Today, we feast on the blood of a god, or we die trying!”

“AWOOOOO!”

Orcs and werewolves surged forward, clashing with Ezekiel from every angle!

However, the Ancient King smirked, swinging his sword toward them and then…

SLAAASH!

He cleaved dozens of warriors apart at once, blood and entrails splattering everywhere.

“RAAAHHH!”

“BASTARD!”

Bloodfang and Sharpclaw roared in anger as they witnessed their men dying horrifically. The orc swung his giant axe, unleashing devastating cleaving attacks, while the werewolf’s aura erupted, his powerful claws releasing explosions of black flames.

CLASH! CLASH! CLASH! CLASH!

They attacked Ezekiel ferociously, surprising the Ancient King with their strength, while the remaining soldiers tried to strike him from every other angle.

The King was enormous—over four meters tall, despite his mostly humanoid and delicate features. Most soldiers could only aim at his legs, but their weapons shattered upon striking his insectoid exoskeleton.

“Worms. I am without equal.”

His words reverberated through the army as Ezekiel swung his arm to the left, striking Bloodfang in the face, breaking his nose and the sharp tusks he prized as an orc.

CRASH!

“Ugh?!”

Bloodfang vomited blood but swung his axe again at Ezekiel, only for the Ancient King’s arm to cave through his chest, sharp claws effortlessly piercing his skin and bones.

“So soft… so weak.”
