“And even when I’m gone, Song will be here for you,” I said, comforting the Heavenly Empress. “You’ll eat all of your mom’s food, right?” I asked Song.
“Of course!” he nodded. “I love Mom’s food!”
“Even the veggie spring rolls you don’t eat?” I asked.
“Uuh…” he muttered, scratching his head.
“And the salad?” his mother asked.
“And, of course, the shrimp dumplings you keep ignoring!” I said.
“F-Fine… I’ll try not to be too picky… I’m an adult, after all. I shouldn’t act childish anymore,” he nodded, sighing. “Anyway, are you really giving Anna the whole palace…? It’s not like I’m opposed, but… this is our home…”
“I know,” his mother nodded. “That’s why I wanted to give her this—our home… I’ve already recreated a replica, so don’t worry. I’ve moved all our things there too. I just… let me be selfish for once, dear… I wanted to give Anna a home of her own, independent of her planet or anything else, a place where she can always return, no matter where she is.”
Oh… So that’s why she’s giving me this palace and the surrounding land.
She wants me to always feel at home, wherever I am, no matter the place.
To carry with me this safe haven, this home where I can feel at ease…
It wasn’t even about making me stronger in mind; it was purely a gift for me before departing, her love as a mother.
“Thank you… Okay, I guess we should do it now, then?” I wondered. “It’s not like we have anything else to do…”
“Hmm, yes,” she nodded. “I suppose so…”
“Sis, what happened to your arm, though?” Song asked. “Your right arm is gone?”
“Yeah… This is a price I had to pay for employing the help of a Void Ruler,” I explained. “And…”
I went on and on about what happened. Without wasting time, I also opened the portal to the Purgatory Realm, where the two were able to enter alongside me with my permission.
“T-That’s crazy! And you can’t have a right arm anymore?!” Song gasped. “Not even healing or anything worked, Mom?”
“I tried my strongest healing techniques, but nothing worked…” the Heavenly Empress sighed, her frustration evident. “That wound is like a curse—a powerful curse beyond even my own power… The Void Rulers are truly terrifying beings. But the one that helped us, despite the price he asked for… Without his help, we might not have made it.”
“Yeah…” I smiled lightly. “He didn’t even want to take the arm. It was something related to his own powers, being an entity born from the void, the laws of causality, and more… But I don’t care. With my Aura, I can have all the arms, hands, and legs I want.”
“I guess so, but it’s still sad…” Song said. “Huh? Oh, so this is the Purgatory… It truly looks… unique.”
“I told you it wasn’t pretty, didn’t I?” I sighed. “It isn’t supposed to be a place to live, either way. The demonic energy here is really high, and it can be toxic to most living beings. It’s a prison realm for demons I seal.”
“It is indeed quite the desolate landscape, but it’s perfect for placing things on top, too,” she nodded. “Let me first see how big it is.”
Mom closed her eyes and quickly expanded her Aura everywhere.
FLAAASH!
As her aura spread through the Purgatory Realm, she scanned the entire thing in a second.
“Hmm, it isn’t as big as mine, for sure, but it’s still immense. I would say it’s at least… about 20% of my Inner Realm—an incredible feat already,” she said. “You could say it’s the size of a ‘small world’… Hm, very interesting indeed.”
“I wonder when I’ll get my own Inner Realm, Mom? I’m already at Venerable level, too!” Song said.
“You should already have the Inner Realm Bubble developed inside your soul… Yes, it’s there, dear,” she nodded. “We’ll slowly unlock it, though; it’s a delicate process. So we can’t be harsh about it, let alone hurry.”
“Really?! Wait, so I can’t show it to Anna? Damn…” Song complained, sighing once more.
I patted his shoulder.
“Don’t worry about it, Song! Maybe one day… I’ll be able to come back! Yeah, let’s not just assume I’ll be gone forever,” I said. “Eventually, I should gain the ability to move between worlds… once the Third Awakening is over in my world. When that happens, I’ll come visit this world right away! Even across the multiverse, my connection with this world is the strongest. It shouldn’t be too hard to find it.”
“That’s… wonderful news! I sure hope it happens,” my mother nodded. “I’ve lived so long that patience is what I have the most of. Even if you take hundreds or thousands of years… I’ll be waiting for you, my dear. Now! Shall we begin?”
“Uuh, there’s still a lot of places here…” I said. “The demons must all be sleeping if they haven’t shown up yet… Let’s move to another place before you place the stuff there.”
“Alright, where to?” she asked.
“Hmm…”
I looked around the Purgatory Realm. We stood on a desolate land of dark purple and black stone, with spiraling mountains of the same material and crystallized demon energy growing everywhere as purple and pink crystals—they were Demonite.
To the east, a vast desert stretched endlessly, made of ash. To the west, I could see a gigantic swamp that extended forever, too, composed of noxious, poisonous lakes of miasma and demonic energy.
To the north, there was a miasma ocean constantly swirling around. It looked weird and disgusting, and I didn’t think that was a nice place.
Lastly, to the south, a frozen tundra reached the borders of the Purgatory Realm, mostly made of frozen miasma, which was still toxic.
What I had noticed was that there were new living beings here—small, weird critters crawling here and there, nothing big or intimidating yet.
But I think life was being born from the Miasma Sea and the Miasma Swamps… Miasma is a highly unstable liquid formed from the decay of Mana, Demonic Energy, and other things.
These energies can naturally birth “life,” though in its most disgusting, primitive forms… bug-like creatures, amorphous masses of flesh with tiny legs, little guys nobody would ever want to associate with.
“Hmm, okay, let’s go for the desert. It seems like the best place.”
I used my authority over this place and teleported them both to the desert, right in the middle of it.
In the distance, we could see the calm, silent ash dunes and a huge spire made of white, bone-like stone.
“It’s a bit hot here…” Song said. “Will the plants survive?”
“Yeah, there shouldn’t be any problem. The entire ecosystem I’ll be placing here is made of Martial Treasures of the Heaven Level,” Mom explained. “They won’t even be affected by the demonic energy in the air. If anything, they might feed on it and expand, multiplying into new forms. Naturally, there might also be several creatures that will come along… Is that fine with you, Anna?”
“Hmmm, sure? I don’t really mind,” I shrugged. “So, how do we do this—Uuhh?!”
As I wondered that, in an instant…
RUMBLE!
A titanic floating island appeared above Mother. It was so huge its shadow cast over half the desert, but as it slowly descended, its shadow became smaller. It really looked like a giant meteor coming down to crush us.
“I’ve extracted the fragment,” she said. “Should I place this directly on the sand? Ah, yes, I’ll do that. I’ll mend the space together, don’t worry.”
FLAAASH!
The floating fragment settled over the desert, sending a sea of sand flying outward like a shockwave.
The white and gray stone forming the pillar of this Inner Realm Fragment impacted the sands, and a strange white and rainbow-colored light surrounded everything.
These must be the dimensional walls that surround the world fragment, but…
FLUOSH!
They began mending with the Purgatory, rapidly becoming one with it, until the entire place became a permanent part of this realm…
I could feel an immense aura of Heavenly Ki emanating from the entire fragment, so powerful it made the whole Purgatory Realm tremble slightly.
Ding!
[You have successfully assimilated the World Fragment: [Fragment of the Heavenly Empress’ Inner Realm: Heavenly Golden Palace, White Heaven Mountains, Eternal Autumn Forest, Life Essence River, Lake of Eternal Tranquility, etc.] into your [Divine Demon-Sealing Purgatory Realm (SS): Lv4]!]
[The Essence within the World Fragment and all of its Nature has become your property now, and you will passively gain power from its growth.]
[Demons might benefit from these changes, as they can now channel stronger levels of Ki, Heavenly Ki, and also consume the Martial Treasures to grow more powerful.]
[The [Divine Demon-Sealing Purgatory Realm (SS): Lv4] Skill has Leveled Up!]
And it was done…
“This is amazing…”
Even the skies changed. Instead of being red, they were blue, altering the atmosphere above the entire Inner Realm Fragment and its surroundings.
“This is my little gift for you, dear… A piece of home, so you can always feel at ease wherever you are.”
“Thank you!”
I hugged her happily, unable to believe I could ever receive such an incredible gift at this stage.

Comments
So assuming she gets her own inner realm naturally too and obviously fuses it with purgatory i wonder how it would change under the effects of hope and love. Definitely becoming a more hospitable place but question is how will it happen while still being mostly demon centric. Maybe change the nature of demons within to also have aspects of hope and love and same to the rest of the place.
