I heard an explosion near the anthill where I had left my family, so I quickly descended, rushing toward the origin of the noise and finding quite the ruckus.

Despite them having defeated all the Generals there, something different was happening. A powerful surge of demonic energy was emanating from someone.

My son.

Rainbow Eyes. 

“Stop it! I am… your mother!” 

Fiery Hair roared, clashing against our son as Rainbow Eyes screamed monstrously. His appearance had suddenly changed more than I could have imagined.

The rest of my children and some of their mothers went to investigate, trying to help contain the boy in his raging form.

He possessed an immense quantity of demonic energy within him!

I knew he had been born inheriting the demonic power within me, which I had absorbed from the Library I gained access to, but this was…

It was too much. Did he really have such an immense quantity of demonic power sealed within him? I honestly wanted my children to be strong, but I never thought they could inherit powers I had only recently obtained. 

“He’s too strong!” Orion complained. 

“Brother, please wake up!” Kalana said. “Hey, Athena, is your formation working?!” 

“It isn’t! This is beyond my formations’ powers…!” Athena cried. “I need to stack several formations at the same time!” 

“Children, don’t get too close to your brother! It’s dangerous!” Urbosa warned. 

“We have to stop the boy somehow. Sis, should we fuse?” Merkite asked. 

“Eh? Ah! There won’t be any need! Bing Xue’s back!” Mursha suddenly noticed me as I descended rapidly onto the scene. 

“GRAAAAHHHH!” 

Rainbow Eyes roared at me; his eyes no longer rainbow like those of all my children but glowing with red and black light. His little silver horn had suddenly grown much longer and darker. 

RUMBLE! 

With a single leap, he shattered the ground beneath him and made the surrounding city tremble. His sharp claws rushed toward me as he unleashed a barrage of slashing attacks and kicks. 

CLASH! CLASH! CLASH! CLASH! 

I swiftly intercepted his blows using my hands and arms, then spun in midair after leaping, reaching his back and striking him with my palm.

A single blow transformed into seven blows, each targeting his Meridians and Dantians. 

“{Buddha’s Palm of Tranquility}: {Seven Needles of Harmony}” 

Each blow created a needle made of Heavenly Ki and Divine Photon Essence, piercing the boy’s Meridians and Dantians within a split second. 

“A-Ahh…!” 

His eyes widened, his mouth agape. Slowly, his transformation faded as I stabilized the flow of energy through his body, reinvigorating Heavenly Ki and suppressing Demonic Energy. 

“Uuh…” 

The boy fell unconscious, and I quickly caught him in my arms, sighing in relief. I was glad what I used had worked. When I heard Athena say her formations weren’t effective, I had grown a little worried. 

“So that must have been…” 

I analyzed the boy’s body while healing him, caressing his hair and kissing his forehead. My poor boy must have lost control after releasing too much of the demonic energy he didn’t even know he possessed. 

“Bing bing! You did it!” 

Fiery Hair ran toward me, hugging me and our son as she started crying out of happiness, kissing my lips several times—perhaps as a way to show her gratitude. 

“Yes, yes, calm down, dear. Our boy is alright now.” 

“So worried! What happened to our baby?” 

“He lost control of his own powers. I never expected him to have this level of internal demonic energy… something he inherited from me.” 

“Oohh… That energy bad? Demons use it?” 

“Yeah, I inherited it after my Body and Soul were linked to an Ancient Library and Prison where Demons were kept sealed. That’s where Belze and the demons who help us come from.” 

“Aahh… Hmm, confusing.” 

“It is… just as confusing as learning that our son somehow inherited that. The others don’t seem to have done so… Perhaps because he’s the youngest.” 

“Oooh… I-Is our baby going to be alright?” 

“Of course. I promise you he’ll be fine. I’ll do anything to help him. For now, I’ve suppressed the Demonic Energy by stabilizing the flow of Heavenly Ki. It seems his transformation was triggered because his Demonic Energy was overflowing, surpassing his own Heavenly Ki.” 

“Is that why he became so strong?” 

“Perhaps… I haven’t fully tested the power of Demonic Energy, but… well, he’ll have to learn how to wield it properly now.” 

“Hmm, Fiery Hair will help!” 

“Thank you, dear.” 

“Hm! Love you.” 

She lovingly kissed my lips a couple more times while hugging me with her big arms.

Hm, she’s such a cute girl. I love being hugged by her.

But Rainbow Eyes, our poor boy… We’ll have to ensure this doesn’t happen again.

It was very dangerous… but I’m also glad his siblings were able to hold him back until I returned.

I’m quite proud of how they reacted and what they did—it was very mature of them. 

“Alright, looks like it’s resolved? That was very dangerous, you know…” Urbosa sighed. “Is the boy alright?” 

“Yes, he’s fine,” I nodded. “I’ve sealed that demonic power for now, utilizing the Seal I had placed on his body beforehand.” 

“Brother! Is little bro okay?” Athena asked. 

“He seems to have gone back to normal…” Orion said. 

“Is he really okay?” Kalana wondered. 

“He’s alright,” I nodded. “Thank you for holding back your brother while I was getting here. I have good news for everyone: as you can see, this world’s Eternal Winter has finally ended.” 

“O-Oh yeah!” Mursha noticed, looking around. “I guess you got that goddess then?” 

“Yes, the job is finished,” I nodded. “Her power was repurposed and given to a Winter General I found who ended up joining my cause.” 

“Really? That sounds great!” Merkite said happily. “This is finally over, right? It ended faster than I thought, but still, a lot of things happened… Can’t we take a break now?” 

“Yes, I suppose we should,” I nodded. “How’s everyone else?”
