OP Sister Chapter 459: Lucifer's End

-----

“{ULTIMATE PINNACLE}!!!”

A single point of black and white light compressed completely, piercing through the fabric of reality.

Even if for just a fraction of a second…

TRUUUMMM!!!

It generated an explosion so powerful that even the Void Ruler present in this world looked in its direction, feeling genuinely threatened.

“AAAAAAGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!”

Lucifer screamed in horror and agony. The sphere consumed his soul relentlessly, withering his very existence as he was released by the family pushing him upward.

Like a blazing meteor, he impacted his benefactor, the one who brought him here, weaponized against his will.

“LUCIFER, WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’RE…?!”

“HELP MEEEEEE!”

Before the Universal Computer could stop him, his soul struck her massive body across the gigantic portal she had torn open.

BOOOMMMM!!!

“NNNGGGAAAAGGGHHH…!”

Lucifer’s soul vanished as he burned into nothingness. The rest of the Void Ruler’s body began exploding from the inside out, constantly losing gigantic pieces.

“ERROR…! MY INTERNAL SYSTEMS…! HOW COULD THIS… BE?! LUCI… FER…! YOU DAMN USELESS… BASTARD…!”

BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM!

Her colossal, artificial body couldn’t stop exploding from within. The damage caused by Lucifer’s Soul Fragment as he struck her, pierced her body, and then exploded and died inside was immense.

“A-AAAAAA-AAAAA—AAARRGGHH…!”

Her voice of agony echoed across the entire world of Bestia, glitching and sounding mechanical and distorted.

Everyone watched the scene in awe—

From the immortals, the mortals, the machines, and even the martial beasts across the oceans, to the lazy, ancient constellation sleeping beneath the largest mountain in the world.

“Hoh~ They sure never stop amusing me, hahaha!”

As she laughed, Zero One’s group glanced into the skies, noticing the explosions, everything rumbling, constantly making the world tremble.

“W-What happened?!” Wai Tian asked.

“S-Something red hit the Universal Computer…” Yin Sheng muttered.

“Something red?!” Zero Two asked. “I was able to take some pictures, but… What the hell is this? A soul? Someone screaming? It looks like a chimera of a bunch of ugly things!”

“Whatever that was, this is our opportunity, everyone!” Zero One cried, the immortals behind her, alongside the millions of machines and her mother, looking at her with eyes full of determination. “This is the moment we stand together for this world… Both the original inhabitants and the invaders who want to redeem themselves…!”

Her speech echoed through every machine, and the immortals, with their augmented senses, could easily hear her as well.

“We can’t waste any more time than this!” she said. “Please, everyone… Would you give me whatever little strength you have?! For this last push, to save this world! To save everyone…!”

The immortals, whose faces showed some doubt, suddenly stopped hesitating once they saw the two primordial beasts’ step forward.

Their auras, overflowing with power, reached Zero One, her sisters, and her Mother’s tree.

FLUOOOSH!

Suddenly, they were fueled with immense quantities of Heavenly Ki, powering their systems to the maximum and even improving them continuously.

“Of course! We’re in!” Wai Tian stepped forward. “We’re friends, after all, Zero One!”

“We’ve always been your friends, Zero One,” Yin Sheng said. “Did you even have to ask that question?”

“Yes, I’ll do whatever I can as well… All the time I’ve spent here has been precious to me,” Sara said. “I’ll do everything I can to be of aid, Zero One. You’ve taught me that no matter our origins, anybody can become a great person if they truly mean it.”

KRIEEEEEH!” Violet roared.

AWOOOO!” Snow howled.

Piiikyuuuhh…” And Shiro looked exhausted but willing to help one last time.

“Of course, dear,” her mother said. “You don’t even need to ask… I believe what impacted the Void Ruler was Lucifer’s soul. She had summoned him here momentarily… He was burning with such intensity it resembled a meteor or a star, however. And I believe it was Anna and everyone else who launched him there, amazingly enough.”

“S-So they’re still hanging in there…?”

“The Heavenly Demon…”

“And the Heavenly Empress!”

“Anna and Song!”

“Their adoptive daughter and their son…”

“If they did that, then… That means…”

The immortals, of all races, shapes, and sizes, looked at one another.

Long ago, they were separated, divided by their appearances and customs.

The world, however, faced a great cataclysm, an apocalypse like nothing else.

In a war to protect their world, they were forced to put aside their differences, even though they’d adhered to them for thousands of years.

To survive together and protect their beloved world… all of them had to work together.

Fishmen, Lions, Tigers, Birds, Wolves, Insects, Bears, and many more…

Back then, they had no choice and did it unwillingly.

But now, after learning to cooperate, to work together…

After learning so much through facing many difficulties,

Their hearts were more united than ever.

“Let’s do it, everyone!”

The giant Lion Immortal was the first to roar.

He had also been the first to oppose the machines’ redemption and tore them apart despite their pleas for forgiveness.

After that, he began to feel guilt, despite having killed the monsters that brought such disaster to his world…

This guilt wouldn’t go away no matter what, and hence…

He felt he had to be the first to speak.

“Yeah…”

“Let’s do it…”

“Whatever it is…”

“We need to save our world!”

“Yeah!”

“OOOOOOHHHH!!!”

They were not even that many—fewer than a hundred.

But these Immortals represented the unyielding spirit of the animal people of Bestia,

The most peculiar and unique of all Murim Worlds.

“Everyone…”

Zero One started crying as she saw their united hearts. Everyone was with her.

This time, for sure…

They were going to make things different.

They were going to save the world they couldn’t save before!

“Let’s do this, my daughters.”

And Mother rushed toward the skies. Her gigantic mechanical tree began twisting and transforming, leaving behind its roots as it gained massive propulsors, soaring toward the crack in space.

“Let’s go!”

Everyone rushed toward the massive mechanical tree as it flew into the skies. As they got inside, a colossal sphere of light glowed brightly, overflowing with energies.

“Everyone, please imbue your energies into this sphere! Not just that, though… your emotions, your memories, your techniques… everything that makes you truly who you are!”

This sphere was designed by Mother—a “mechanical soul,” an imitation of a soul created by her technology.

It was empty, however, but it could become the vessel for everyone’s power and manifest into something she believed might impact the Void Ruler enough to finally make her leave them alone.

The immortals looked at one another, nodding without hesitation this time.

They pointed their hands toward the glowing, spiraling sphere, infusing their energies…

And as they did, they began to think.

Of those they lost.

Their mothers.

Their fathers.

Their grandpas and grandmas.

Their children…

Their babies…

Their sons and daughters.

Grandsons and granddaughters.

Uncles, aunties.

Of their life.

Their paths, their difficulties.

Their hopes.

And dreams.

And lastly,

Their love.

Even the most vicious Demonic Cultivator was there, closing his eyes, furrowing his brow.

Thinking back to when life was easier, simpler.

When he had yet to fall into this path, when he had something he loved.

He channeled these long-forgotten memories, these emotions.

Even those with rotten hearts were once innocent children.

These old, forgotten memories of their childhood were channeled—simpler, happier times.

FLUOSH!

The Artificial Soul absorbed everything, displaying countless images.

The laughter of children, the smiles of countless people.

Zero One, her sisters, and her Mother finally saw it all.

They finally understood completely.

What made a world…

It was its people.

“How beautiful…”

Mother smiled, crying as she saw everything.

“I see now… What makes this world so beautiful and unique… And perhaps what that monster wants to gain power from…”

As Mother cried, her daughters walked to her side.

Zero One held her hand, while Zero Two and Zero Three gently smiled at her.

“Let’s do this, Mom!”

Raven nodded with a cute smile.

Countless memories of Mother appeared through the sphere as well.

Of her time with Raven, of every single day she had cherished.

Her precious memories.

Of her daughter…

“Yes… Raven, dear.”

RUMBLE!

As this happened, in the skies of Bestia, the monstrous Void Ruler screamed in agony. Her suffering had yet to end; her systems couldn’t repair fast enough. The damage Lucifer had caused continued without end!

“I-I NEED…! I NEED TO DEVOUR THIS PLANET ALREADY…! ONCE I DO, I CAN RECOVER…! ONLY THIS DELICIOUS STORY, THE STORY OF A WORLD THAT HAS FACED SO MANY DIFFICULTIES AND PERSEVERED… THE PERFECT MEAL!”

Her tentacles, even as they burned with Lucifer’s Cosmic Soul Flames, rushed downward, aiming for the planet’s crust.

With no one to defend it as both parties ascended to confront her, she was free to finally do it.

And yet…

“What do you think you’re doing?”
