The Crippled Vampire Prince Walks The Heavenly Demon Path Chapter 200: Dying Flames

-----

“Here he comes!” Chris shouted, pointing his trident at the incoming blazing arms of the Unending Crimson. He infused it with the power of his Aura, activating the [Silver Holy Spirit Flames of Courage] Skill, which enveloped his trident and bow in silver flames imbued with both spiritual and divine properties.

The trident surged downward, piercing through dozens of arms and hands, causing them to explode into blazing rubble scattered everywhere. The Unending Crimson groaned, relentlessly forming new limbs to retaliate, stretching around and bypassing the trident’s range.

“Don’t underestimate me!” Chris roared aiming his bow downward as his Aura merged his Silver Holy Spirit Flames of Courage with Golden Moonlight. “I may be a cutie, but I’m also pretty damn strong, you know~?!”

With a vicious, cocky smile, Chris unleashed the power of his strongest skill.

“{Ethereal Golden Moonlight Materialization}: {Myriad Heavenly Arrows}!”

FLAAASH!

Chris conjured over thirty bows, each composed of holy golden moonlight that rapidly materialized into an ethereal, glowing gold-like substance, forming bows charged with both this energy and the silver flames.

And then, the Unending Crimson saw just how truly strong that little incubus was…

BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM!

“GAAAAAHHHHH!”

He screamed in agony as the connection between his true Outer Soul and the Raid Boss Vessel began to fracture, cracks spreading through it. He felt the pain deep within.

He wasn’t laughing anymore, as the light piercing him was so pure it twisted his perception of pain and agony, carrying a strangely “relieving” sensation.

“I’ve figured out what you and your ilk are. You’re not just Gods—you’re entities born from grief and hatred, forever tied to your grievances… There’s little difference between you and ghosts or spirits that couldn’t pass on peacefully, aside from the immense power you possess!”

As Chris roared, his light shone brilliantly, showing the Unending Crimson he meant business.

“And it just so happens that the Light I wield comes from someone from another Realm, one where even mortals could rise to become Gods—an ancient and forgotten Realm, Murim! Does that ring any bells?! Well, the Heavenly Emperor specialized in taking down evil spirits and grieving ghosts like you!”

“Y-YOUUU…! HAHAHA…! IS THAT WHAT YOU BELIEVE I AM?! YOU’RE BARELY SCRATCHING THE SURFACE OF OUR ORIGINS! BUT THAT’S FINE…! WHO DOESN’T LOVE A LITTLE MYSTERY?!”

The Unending Crimson laughed, pushing upward as his flames morphed into dozens of serpents and worms, reaching higher and higher even as they were blasted away.

Chris clicked his tongue in frustration. He’d wanted to handle it all on his own to impress his boyfriend, but this damned accursed thing wasn’t going to die easily.

“Paul! Teressa!”

As he called for them, the two nodded. Teressa didn’t appreciate the nickname “Paul” that Chris had given Vlad, but she had no time to correct him now, rushing down with her son.

“We’re ready!”

Vlad infused his power into his mother as the power of Grand Geomancy activated at full strength. Her Blood Frost Aura erupted with immense force, rapidly fusing with her son’s own Aura, particularly his [Blood Ki Soul Spiritualization] Ability.

“{Grand Geomancy} + {Blood Ki Soul Spiritualization} = {Abyssal Frost Blood Demon King}!”

RUMBLE!

Vlad and Teressa’s Auras merged, if only for a few seconds, enhancing and evolving the power of Vlad’s “Heart Demon,” the entity born from his Blood Ki Aura once given a spiritualized form.

“GAHAHAHAHA!”

The monstrous entity laughed, now composed entirely of blue and red ice, growing to a gigantic size. Its massive claws pushed down the Unending Crimson’s endless arms, freezing through his flames.

CRAAASH!

“AAAAAGGHHH?!”

The Unending Crimson felt the coldness of ice spreading through his flames, rapidly pushing him down. The agonizing sensation of his flames—the source of all his power—vanishing sparked a slight tinge of fear.

“NOT…! NOT YET! MORE! BURN MORE…! HEHEHAHAHA!”

However, he erupted with even more flames, pushing back the frozen demon. Chris’ arrows continued firing, piercing through the Unending Crimson’s vessel and breaking him apart, shattering his body piece by piece.

Meanwhile, as Teressa pressed down with all her strength, Vlad’s upgraded armor and weapon activated, absorbing the flames directed at them and empowering him further.

“{Cursed Flame Absorption: Arcana Furnace}!”

He triggered his equipment’s new unified ability, the power to absorb flames and process these potent magical flames of any origin into more Arcana to fuel him.

Of course, it didn’t work with flames of his own creation, but it was perfect since his foe relied solely on them.

FLUOOOSH!

The immense surge of Arcana was channeled back into the frost demon, its claws growing larger as more ice spread through the Unending Crimson’s body, ultimately overpowering him.

“T-This is…? My… My flames…!”

His hand stretched toward the skies as visions flashed through his mind while the cold frost consumed him.

“The Mahātmā! Someone save him!”

“Please run!”

“Oh no, they’re burning everything…!”

“Aaaahhh!”

“No, my child!”

“Hahahaha! Burn, you damned heretics!”

“Don’t spare anybody. The Dragon Emperor has stated that we must burn this city and its people to the ground!”

“Noooo!”

“Aaaaggghhhh!”

The endless screams of his people calling for him, a giant temple burning to the ground, the laughter of the wicked as they razed his village and homes, the cries of agony as even children were not spared from the flames.

“A-Ahh…”

For a moment, the aberrant Outer God glimpsed a shred of reason, a past long forgotten. As the cold consumed him entirely, he smiled faintly.

“Not bad… my little flame…”

BOOOMMM!!!

His frozen vessel exploded, and his presence finally vanished. Even the Blazing Golems he had created stopped burning, collapsing to the ground and crumbling into pieces.

The explosion of ice spread far and wide. For a moment, everyone on the battlefield—golems and soldiers alike—paused, watching the snow fall from the skies.
