Bing Xue’s plan was working wonderfully as she created a Domain of Flames, powered by her and Fiery Hair, which began to devour the Domain of Frost of the Alien God.
“STOP! STOP THIS VERY INSTANT, YOU…! DAMN MORTALS!”
The Endless Coldness dropped the act. Her monstrous form destroyed the entire ice palace where Fiery Hair had been trapped, revealing an endless cosmos surrounding the two women, her titanic figure towering above all.
“YOU BELIEVE YOU CAN ESCAPE?! I NEVER LET MY PREY ESCAPE!”
“I think you look pretty desperate. Perhaps that record will be broken today with us!”
Bing Xue faced her without fear, her eyes glowing bright gold and red. As Fiery Hair roared, both leaped into the cosmos, clashing against the endless limbs of the Eternal Cold. Thousands of glaciers manifested out of nowhere, rushing toward them.
However, Bing Xue and Fiery Hair sliced and punched through them. Explosions of ice erupted, shattering everywhere as ice shards flew past them. The monstrous Alien God roared. Her voice was no longer understandable.
“GRRYYYAAARRGGHHH!”
Her tentacles were damaged more and more until Bing Xue and Fiery Hair, fighting together as one, suddenly reached perfect synchronization.
Bing Xue’s sword and Fiery Hair’s fists combined, their flames erupting to form a gigantic blade of infernal and heavenly fire, slashing through the Eternal Cold’s tentacles once and for all.
SLAAASH!
For the first time in her long life, the Endless Coldness felt pain! Her limbs were cut off at last, her strange blue and black aura splattering everywhere. Her agonized cry echoed through the cosmos as she quickly manifested countless claws made of frost, trying to seize the two women.
However, their combined attacks were unparalleled, intercepting the Frozen Claws, slicing or destroying them, and ultimately reaching the monstrosity’s face within seconds. A dance of flames and slashing waves struck her visage, culminating in an explosion of fire.
BOOOMM!
“GRRRHHHHH?!”
The Endless Coldness let out a scream of agony as her Domain trembled. Her monstrous face, already disfigured by the attack, was shocked to see her Soul Domain shattering into pieces and beginning to collapse rapidly.
“Fiery Hair, let’s get out of here!”
“Finally!”
Bing Xue held Fiery Hair’s arm, rushing toward the cracks appearing in the Soul Domain. The Alien God didn’t take this kindly, roaring and pursuing them, her limbs spreading through the void and freezing space itself in an attempt to seal the cracks.
“RAAAAHHHH!”
She roared monstrously, her gigantic maw about to devour them both. Bing Xue quickly manifested a giant Soul Blade Spirit, using her powers and Fiery Hair’s Primal Aura and Flames, and sent it soaring toward the Alien Goddess’s face.
“{Divine Blade Spirit of Primal Flames}!”
The monster roared, trying to destroy the blade with her feathers, only for them to burn and explode on contact. The sword pierced her face within a split second, slicing through a large chunk of her essence before detonating.
BOOOMMM!!!
“GYYYAAAAAAAGGGHHH!”
Her agonized scream reverberated behind Bing Xue and Fiery Hair as they stepped out of the Soul Domain. Bing Xue glanced at Fiery with a smile, nodding.
“Go help our son! This battle isn’t over yet!”
Fiery Hair nodded as she opened her eyes. The frozen statue had been shattered into pieces as her body erupted with divine and primal flames.
“Fiery Hair, you’re back!” Mursha smiled happily.
“Auntie!” Kalana celebrated.
“It worked!” Athena cheered, feeling relieved.
“Thank you for helping me, little Athena!” Fiery Hair smiled, patting her head. “Mursha, Kalana… where’s my boy?”
“Over there!” Mursha pointed into the distance. “He’s handling things just fine, but that bizarre thing he’s fighting is giving me bad vibes. We should go fight it, but these things keep coming!”
“We have to hold them off, so they don’t chase after the civilians who ran away!” Kalana explained.
“I see, then leave it to me!” Fiery Hair roared. “I’ll go help my son!”
She leaped, cracking the ground and shattering it into pieces. Flames erupted everywhere as her fists pummeled the Ice Beasts one by one, reducing them to ash.
The rest watched in awe; they didn’t remember Fiery Hair being this strong before.
“D-Did she get stronger?” Mursha wondered, gripping her axe tightly. “What happened?”
“Perhaps fighting that Alien God within her Soul Domain must have strengthened her soul or something…” Athena smiled. “Now I’m sure Rainbow Eyes will be alright!”
“Mama, I kinda wanna fight too!” Kalana said, looking a bit disappointed.
“Well, there’s plenty more where that came from, apparently…” Merneith sighed, glancing behind her. The snowy ground broke open, revealing dozens of undead crawling toward them in their aberrant forms.
Meanwhile, Bloodclaw glared at her foes, her crimson eyes blazing with conviction and ruthlessness. By her side stood Peperina and Sakura, who had decided to stay, trying to keep her from going overboard—Bloodclaw’s morals were far looser than theirs.
“What in the world is happening to them?” Bloodclaw wondered.
Using her powers, she had smashed the Winter Knights into the ground and nearly killed them on the spot. However, when Coldwind emerged, radiant, a wave of aura reached the Knights, the Frost Knights suddenly mutating into a grotesque hybrid of beast and ice.
“GRUOOOHHHH!”
“SHYAAAAGGGH!”
“Whatever it is, I don’t think you can handle them alone anymore, Bloodclaw!” Peperina said, the Power of Sakura empowering her Aura as she brandished her sword. “So let’s work together!”
“Not like you’ve got any other option anyway!” Sakura smiled, her radiant Aura surging from her body as she was suddenly encased in gleaming armor.
“Oh well, whatever! Let’s just get this over with…!” Bloodclaw slammed the ground with her long tail, her psychic powers surging like a wave of crimson light.
