The Heavenly Empress could still hear his voice even now as she glanced at the monstrous demon from another world—the being the Heavenly Demon had put his life and soul to defeat.

And yet, it had managed to survive, showing a level of tenacity and monstrous strength never seen before in this world.

As she cried, furrowing her feathered eyebrows, she glared at the monstrous being in front of her—the King of All Demons. Even while using a mere vessel, he was immensely formidable. 

There was so much left to say, so much left to do with him… She gripped her fists tightly; a whole future with her beloved had been taken away.

Just like that…

She never imagined this would happen, and even though she was perhaps the one feeling the most pain, she had to be strong.

With her shoulders, she was carrying the entire world of Bestia. If she hesitated now, if she cried and fell into despair…

Who else would these children have to rely on? 

“He certainly… wouldn’t want that…!”

While gritting her beak tightly, trying her best to hold onto her agonizing sorrow and the feeling of loss, the hollowness she felt within her heart once her beloved lay there, lifeless, she glared at the monster.

Her Heart of Hope twisted, both the Hope of the World and the Despair, Pain, and Agony mixed together within her, rapidly swirling into a storm of immense, tremendous strength. 

“I’ll kill you.” 

And at that moment, the Heavenly Empress decided to walk the Demonic Path, glaring at the King of All Demons, the King of All Evil, and the first Demon, Lucifer, the true ruler of all Hells.

The fallen Archangel, in response, simply smiled across his many mouths, his eyes glowing bright red as countless fleshy tentacles started sprouting out of his body, suddenly taking the shape of several animal-like heads. 

“Heh… You’re a cute birdie too… Would you like to become my pet~?” 

His body continued growing monstrously, no longer looking handsome or humanoid…

In fact, even though he acted this way, he was going through a lot of pain.

He couldn’t keep his humanoid form anymore; his body and soul were hurt to the point he couldn’t regenerate properly. 

“W-What did that birdie do to me?! M-My soul feels warped! Is it cracked? A mere… little bird crushed my soul to this extent? It is as if my own original form… feels blurry… T-This is not bad, hahah…! But why am I laughing? Ah, yes, this is fun…! I want more of that feeling…! Excitement, despair, hope… all of these emotions intermingled together. Indeed! Only mortals, only these little birdies can show me what I lack…! What I’ve lost long ago…” 

His thoughts were fast, coming one after another. Anybody who tried to read the mind of an insane monster such as him would fall into insanity as well. 

“Little birdie…! Become my pet… yes? I don’t want to hurt you anymore… You’re so perfect, you’re white…! Your feathers, they remind me of Father’s Holy Spirit…! So brilliant… I want them… I WANT YOU…” 

As he spoke, his body continued growing. Hundreds of humanoid hands and arms emerged, grabbing his destroyed face and pressing against his eyes and flesh, destroying his own eyes as he showed his insane obsession with “adorable animals.” 

“…You don’t even recognize the incredible warrior who fought you,” the Heavenly Empress didn’t even look him in the eyes. “You’re not worth anything… You’re just a monster, aren’t you? Stop pretending to be smart, you deceiving abomination.” 

“A-Abomination…?! Hahahah… D-Deceiving?! Heheheh… HEHEHEHAHAHAHA!” 

Lucifer began to laugh while giant bleeding feathered wings sprouted out of his endlessly growing, twisted flesh, with bleeding eyes and torn-apart feathers. 

“OH FATHER…! IS THIS ANOTHER OF YOUR AVATARS?! HAVE YOU SENT HER TO PUNISH ME?! HEHEHEEEEEEHAHAHAHAHA!” 

As he spoke deliriously, the Heavenly Empress’s Aura compressed. Her entire body was encompassed by golden and black armor, unleashing her Imperial Armament powers fully. 

“I’ll crush you no matter what!” 

She rushed toward him without hesitation, still crying, still mourning, but fully knowing that with Anna and Song in such a state, she was the only one who could fight right now.

Her Aura erupted, manifesting a giant golden Buddha with six giant arms, attacking the demon in front of her with everything she had. 

“HYAAAHAHAHA!” 

The demon laughed as he grew more and more insane. His tentacles and countless heads began to clash against her golden palms, releasing explosions of demonic flames, darkness, and light. 

BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! 

As the battle began without letting the Heavenly Empress even mourn the death of her beloved, Anna and Song were there, gazing at his lifeless body, floating above the sea.

His blood spread through the oceans, painting it red, attracting small fish, which glanced from beneath without daring to get closer. 

Anna’s tears fell onto the Heavenly Demon’s face as she noticed the fish down below, furrowing her eyebrows angrily. 

“D-Don’t you dare get closer…! He is not…! He is not some corpse for you to feast on, animals!” 

With a furious roar, her Immortal Will crushed the innocent fish into pieces, tainting the sea red with their innards. 

“A-Anna…!” 

Song was scared, realizing Anna had lost it. Her hands were trembling, her eyes completely red, gasping for air, furious, angered, unable to maintain her former calmness. 

She never imagined something like this would happen, never thought that far at all…

With all the plans they had, with everything so well planned, and with everything going so well until now.

To suddenly see him there, dead…

She simply… couldn’t take it.

She couldn’t accept reality. 

“D-Don’t worry, Song!” 

She smiled desperately as she cried, her eyes twitching. 

“Huh?” 

“I’ll revive him! Heheh…! I-I can do that! I’ve done that with Sara, y-you know?! A-And with Fang Shuan! T-They were revived! I can revive people!!!” 

“Anna…?!” 

Anna pressed her hands into the Heavenly Demon’s chest as she quickly infused her Divine Aura and activated the power of her Privileges and Specializations. 

“{R-RISE}!” 

“A-Anna! What are you doing?!” 

Song panicked as he saw Anna infuse foreign energies into the body of his father. He ran to stop her as the aura seeped inside of him. 

FLUOSH! 

“There! Please come back! I know you can, your soul is…! You can—” 

[ERROR]

“…Huh?” 

Her eyes grew darker as the light within them dissipated. 

“Rise…!” 

FLUOSH!

Nothing again. 

“Anna, stop! Let my father rest in peace!” 

Song ran toward Anna and started trying to drag her away from the Heavenly Demon’s body. 

“No! I can revive him! I SWEAR I CAN REVIVE HIM, SONG! I-I CAN DO IT!!!” 

She forcefully reached the Heavenly Demon, using her skills, everything, anything.

And yet…

Song continued crying while trying to stop Anna, who had completely lost her mind.

No matter how many times she tried, Anna was unable to turn him into an undead.

And when she tried using Gaia’s Privilege…

She simply didn’t have enough lifespan to revive him. He was too powerful for any of her powers to work on him.

At that moment, Anna stopped struggling as she felt like she had lost all her strength, looking at the scene in silence. 

“Anna… Please stop…” 

She glanced at Song, who was still crying but angry at her. 

“Don’t sully my father’s corpse anymore… Let him rest in peace!” 

“A-Aah… S-Song…” 

Anna looked at her own hands and then put them on her face, grabbing her face tightly, almost about to tear it off. Song noticed blood coming out of her fingers. 

“Anna!” 

He quickly stopped her before she could do something out of utter horror, panic, anger, frustration, and despair. 

“Stop…! D-Don’t…! Don’t harm yourself…!” 

“Aaahh…! I couldn’t… I couldn’t save him…! I-I…!” 

“Please… calm down!” 

Song hugged her as Anna looked at the skies and then at the Heavenly Empress battling the King of All Demons. Her tears, which had dried up, started flowing from her eyes again as they regained their original golden color.
